Hi Anthony, a fabulous job with the deck. So sorry to hear about Joyce, pleased to hear that the hospital acted quickly though. Love and best wishes to you both❤❤❤❤
Thank you, Colin. Just another bump in a long road we have shared. It is nice to have the deck finished, but that feeling has to wait. Fortunately, Joyce is feeling a bit better today, but fatigues easy... so rest and meds are the order of the day.
We are sending positive thoughts your way 😊. I hope Joyce gets to feeling better soon. You are doing an amazing job on the deck. You are a great man! 😊 We appreciate you dear friend
WOW Anthony talk about stress. The deck is fab . You did a great DIY job. I do hope Joyce pulls through ok .It sounds as like a real bad infection . Am sure you are on the case making her rest . Please send her our very best wishes for a quick recovery.. We are all thinking about you guys here in the UK . Stay safe and well my friends . Regards Lord Al and Lady Babs..
Hello, m'lord. Thanks for all the kind words. It has been insane. Joyce is definitely better today after the IVs and being on meds for a couple days. She is clearly fatigued and tires easily. Unfortunately, she doesn't like to sit still, so I have to persuade her to NOT do anything. I was worried I would have to fight her about not trying to work today, but she took 2 days off. Pneumonia, sinus infection, and her asthma have made this a wild ride. Thank you and Babs for checking in!
Hi Anthony & Joyce, So sorry to hear of Joyces problems a speedy recovery is wished as for the decking a super job has been done and Anthony you should be very pleased with what you have built well done. Cheers Robert.
Thank you, Robert! It has been a crazy week. I just finished sealing the deck and I am quite chuffed with it! Joyce is slowly improving, but still very fatigued.
Hi, Deano! Thank you for the kind regards. Joyce will be fine. She is already showing improvement this morning compared to yesterday morning; she's just very fatigued and tires easily. We are sending our hopes to you. You take care of yourself!
HI Andrew! Thanks for the warm wishes. It was a crazy week, and the weekend just put it to a crazier level. Joyce seemed better last night and this morning, but is easily fatigued. Pneumonia, sadly, just doesn't go away in a day or two. Takes a while for the lungs to clear and months for them to get back to normal. Fortunately, it seems to just be the one lung.
Thank you for all the kind words, Tim! Asthma and pneumonia are not a good combo, but Joyce is definitely feeling better today, although she tires easy.
Hi Anthony, I am behind on vids..superb job and its good to see a video like this...I hope Joyce is back on track now she's been through all that.. Take care bud...
Looks really good. 👍. Unfortunately that’s a project I would not dare to take on. So reluctantly I have to give lots of money to a contractor. Our 16 year old deck is at EOL. So this year we are having a new composite deck built. Tom
Hello, Tommy. We wanted to go composite, but the type we wanted was not cost-effective for us, so it is another wooden one. Next time, I will probably be a bit too old to build it myself, so it will be done by pros, but until then, I do almost all my home improvement projects myself.
Great looking deck! If you can't find the materials you need in Toledo for your deck is Detroit an option?. Hope that Joyce feels better. I had all 4 wisdom teeth out when I was 23. I know the pain. Bill and Janet from California
There are a lot of Menards closer than Detroit, which is the only store carrying the system we are using. I just have to keep rotating them and checking stock online. I now have all I need (and am done, outside cleaning and sealing). Cheers!
ER visits are VERY expensive and discouraged except in true life & death situations. Our employee insurance is very good, so we will not pay as .uch, but it will still be a three hundred or more out of pocket. We started at an urgent care, which is only $25 copay, but after testing Joyce, they told me to get her to the hospital.
Hi Anthony great job so far deck looks an amazing. We are all sending love and best wishes to Joyce for a speedy recovery. Regards Tom
Thank you for the support, Tom!
Looks really good. The little details are what take the most time. Hope Joyce is feeling better soon.
Hello and thank you, John! Joyce has taken a step forward. Definitely stable with BP and Blood Oxygen. She is feel better, but tires very easily.
