Does the portion that lays over the door jam, have you had any problems with curling or catching your foot on the edges? I know the WeatherTech mats are prone to curling, just curious if these are the same?
Great video ! Especially explaining how the clips work. I couldn’t find any other videos that explained it well ! I am going to order some as soon as my 24 f150 comes in! I watched another video but it wasn’t the same vehicle but it said they had a problem pushing the throttle all the way down. Have you experienced that ? Thank you in advance
What’s the feel of the mats? I have an issue with stuff sliding around on my rear seat mats that came with my truck. Trying to find something like this that has a little more grip on top of the mats.
What about fluid retention for like spilled drinks or something? That is my biggest concern going to these over weather tech. The grommets for the posts have holes in the tops that fluid could run down in and the mats themselves seemed to drop off, like in the front of the rear seat mats and at the doors, which would let fluid run off the mat into the vehicle. Have you tested the fluid retention or had any spills to see how that works yet?
Weathertechs are not completely sealed (no liners are), if there's enough fluid, some will still get around the post clips into the floor beneath. Liners will significantly reduce the likelihood of this but again, they aren't hermetically sealed to the floor... That said, if you spill a huge drink, I am not sure why you would continue to drive the vehicle and not at minimum remove the floor liner, pour out contents, and wipe up any spillage that made its way to the carpet.
@@WaterFowler41 I get they don't come with IP68 crets, and i'm not trying to keep goldfish in my floorboard. I'm just wondering if there's a significant difference in the volume each will contain before I can get to a rest stop on the highway if a kid decides to throw their happy meal drink in the floorboard in the back seat.

looks clean I hate how the ford mats allow the carpet to get dirty by the pedal
Trying to decide which matt to get for my 24 Canyon, and you sold me.
after watching your video, got my tuxmat. i love it. thank you for your video.
they are great mats!
definitely gonna have to pick up a set for my 22 f150
You’ll be hard pressed to find liners that cover more for the price!
Did you end up getting these? Curious on how they hold up in a pickup...Heavy duty enough?
Looks clean definitely will be looking into these

Are the TuxMatts rubber? Wondered about wear and tear compared to a full rubber or plastic mat. Thx

I do not have that issue with my floor mats. Triple check clearance around the pedal.
@@WaterFowler41 thank you for the information. Going to go ahead and order a set !

Light cargo will still slide on this. If I have something I don't want to slide I usually throw a moving blanket down to keep things in place.
