I swear Robin was so gloriously broken in Awakening that they decided to nerf him in every single installment that followed
Blue In warriors he’s a pretty good character. But then you find out he’s a better pair up bot.
And in all seriousness for the two people that have played codename steam Robin is great in that game, being able to hit from really far away with his tome and stun frequently with his Levin sword, but even then the fact that he can’t equip other boilers and that the fire emblem boilers suck ass in the mid to late game holds him back still and reduces how much he can act per turn, and he doesn’t duck behind cover. YOU’RE A TACTICIAN FFS! STANDING OUT IN THE OPEN BAD! ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!
Oh and if he dies he’s gone. You have to scan the amiibo again.

I gotta say I'm impressed with Robin players, good on you guys for keeping with a "jack of all trades" unit, as a Joshua player I respect that. The only Robin alt you guys deserve at this point is Grandmaster Robin from CYL though, let someone else get an alt for a change.
2 of those "alts" are grima not robin....
Whoop Some Monkey Ass I count characters that are either the same person or in the same body when deciding whose an alt or not, so for example Sirius is technically another Camus, that means right now we have two Camus' in this game and for the second example even though Fallen Lyon is Formortis he still counts as being a Lyon alt. I refer to that Robin as Grima, however it doesn't take away from them being the 5th and 6th Robin respectively.
I just want that Grandmaster and I'll be satisfied (would prefer for fRobin, but it'll probably be mRobin)
Shale A M Robin has more of a chance, there are less Males competing with him compared to F Robin who has to deal with the various other popular Female characters. Either way I would eventually like to see a Levin Sword user considering Anna and Gangrel both got other weapons.

The speed one is so true. My Robin has like 42 speed but I still love him
My first ever 5-Star, finally gave him Triangle Adept & Sword Breaker month or so after joining the game again, and he's been tanking Colorless & Reds since then as a mixed phase unit. Still part of my main team. Paired him up with Celica before she got her refine, run the pair with Soren & B!Lyn, my first 4 ranged units (yeah I had a hiatus from launch till about chapter 3 of book 2). Team still holds together today, especially with the refines, my go to (lower scoring) team in Aether Raids if none of my seasonal teams can do a decent shot at the map (Soren has been replaced with L! Celica, and there's been a Young Azura in the fifth slot since AR allowed me a fifth unit).
Sword Breaker M! Robin: Reds & Colorless units
Triple Brazen Celica: Greens especially, also works on virtually all non-blues, even works on blue tanks like B! Hector & L! Tiki
Watersweep Soren: Tanks Blue Mages & Snipes Non-Red Res targeting units
B! Lyn: Anti-Flier, Snipes Melee user with DC
Y! Azura: Tanks Blue Mages, Dances
L! Celica: (replaced Soren) Tank Fryer (blues especially)

Hey it could be worse, I still haven't abandoned my Odin. With that attack, he can reliably kill Swords and low res armor units. At least he's decently fast from any non merged unit that isn't Ayra, L!Alm or B!Lyn.
