  • With the destruction of the Second Temple, the rabbis feared for the survival of Jewish life and practice. After generations of strong leaders kept learning alive, the Oral Law was written down for the first time to ensure it would always endure. This text - the Mishnah - still forms the basis of Jewish law or halacha millenia later. So who made the radical decision to write the laws down and what exactly does the Mishnah contain?
The Jewish Story Explained is based on the book "Letters to Auntie Fori: 5,000 Years of Jewish History and their Faith" by Martin Gilbert

Here is an expansion on the topic of Jesus in Kabbalah:
In Kabbalah, the mystical tradition of Judaism, the focus is primarily on exploring the nature of the divine and the spiritual journey of the soul. While Jesus as a figure in Christianity is not directly addressed in traditional Kabbalistic texts, some Kabbalistic interpretations offer insights into the symbolic and metaphysical aspects associated with Jesus.
One perspective that some Kabbalists hold is that Jesus represents a manifestation of divine consciousness or a channel through which divine energy is expressed. In this view, Jesus embodies a higher spiritual level or a vessel through which the divine presence enters the world. This concept aligns with the Kabbalistic belief in the various emanations of the divine known as the Sephirot.
The Sephirot, represented by ten interconnected spheres on the Tree of Life, depict different aspects of the divine nature and the journey of the soul. Some Kabbalists see Jesus as embodying qualities associated with specific Sephirot. For example, his teachings of compassion, love, and mercy might be seen as resonating with the Sephirah of Chesed (kindness). His role as a teacher and guide may be linked to the Sephirah of Hokhmah (wisdom).
Additionally, Jesus' crucifixion and subsequent resurrection can be seen as symbolic of spiritual transformation and the process of divine revelation. Kabbalah emphasizes the idea of personal sacrifice and the surrendering of one's ego to attain a deeper connection with the divine. In this context, Jesus' sacrifice on the cross can be viewed as an allegory for the journey of the soul, where one must undergo trials and challenges to achieve spiritual growth and redemption.
Furthermore, Jesus' teachings on the Kingdom of Heaven and the fulfillment of divine prophecies align with Kabbalistic notions of the Messianic age and the ultimate redemption of humanity. Kabbalah envisions a future era in which divine consciousness will permeate the world, bringing about unity, harmony, and enlightenment. Jesus' role as a Messiah figure may be seen as representing this concept of spiritual redemption and the realization of a divine plan.
It is important to note that these interpretations are not universally accepted within Kabbalistic traditions, and they may vary among different scholars and practitioners. Kabbalah remains primarily rooted in Jewish mystical teachings, and any connections drawn between Jesus and Kabbalah are speculative and subject to individual interpretation.
To gain a more comprehensive understanding of the relationship between Jesus and Kabbalah, it is advisable to consult specific Kabbalistic texts and seek guidance from scholars or teachers who specialize in both Kabbalah and comparative religious studies. They can offer deeper insights and provide a broader context for exploring these connections.

Great video. Just one thing. I’m pretty sure English speakers can handle a name like Shimon without the need to use Simeon. Like every established culture in the world there is no reason Jews should shy away from using their own culture when speaking to a wider audience. What is English for Jean Pierre or Mohammad or Dietrich? I get that because of English bibles one might wish to be familiar and I’m not opposed to ALSO including the Anglicized version of Hebrew words. But Jews should have more pride in their culture and language and resist trying too hard to appeal to those who don’t really care to know things from an inside and authentic perspective. IMHO. It is a great channel though! Keep up the great work. Chanukah Sameach

Yes the law is good as it is a mirror to show us where we fall short.
I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard?3Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?4Have you suffered so much for nothing--if it really was for nothing?5Does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you because you observe the law, or because you believe what you heard?6Consider Abraham: "He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness." [1]7Understand, then, that those who believe are children of Abraham.8The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: "All nations will be blessed through you." [2]9So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.10All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." [3]11Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith." [4]12The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, "The man who does these things will live by them." [5]13Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree." [6]14He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.15Brothers, let me take an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly established, so it is in this case.16The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say "and to seeds," meaning many people, but "and to your seed," [7] meaning one person, who is Christ.17What I mean is this: The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise.18For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on a promise; but God in his grace gave it to Abraham through a promise.19What, then, was the purpose of the law? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise referred had come. The law was put into effect through angels by a mediator.20A mediator, however, does not represent just one party; but God is one.21Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law.22But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.23Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed.24So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ [8] that we might be justified by faith.25Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law.26You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus,27for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.28There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.29If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 2-29

Do you think that someone make your house, even though you have never seen them? The house is the evidence of the builder. Same with this universe. It had a beginning, therefore it had to have a cause. And that cause, is God. This universe could not have created itself.
So do you think God cares about how we live? If He has given us morality so that we have set up a system of law with courts and judges, how much more would the supreme ruler of the universe demand justice?
Have you ever lied, stolen the smallest thing or thought a rude thought? If these were the things God would judge us by, would He find us innocent or guilty? The answer? Guilty. Sinning against an infinite authority figure brings infinite punishment. Hell.
So how can we stop going to hell? Does doing good deeds take away our sins? If I get a speeding ticket in the morning, then do 5 good things, should the judge let me go free? No, the fine has to be paid.
What about asking for forgiveness? If a criminal stands before a judge and says, I'm really sorry... Should the judge let him go free? No, because that would be a bad judge. If he forgave every criminal because he loved them, that would not be doing justice. Justice has to be paid. God is merciful, but not so at the expense of justice.
The only way we can go to heaven is if someone pays our hell punishment for us. Jesus lived a perfect sinless life and then took all of God's wrath for our sins upon Himself on the cross. Since jesus paid 100% of our sins, there is none left for us to pay. Our punishment has been paid and we get off scot free. Justice has been paid and Gods mercy has been upheld.
Our good deeds don't save us. Nor do they contribute anything to our salvation. Jesus paid it all. Just acknowledge your sins, and accept this gift of Jesus Christ to go to heaven.
    Suffering servant
Jesus Christ - Messiah/Annointed One fulfilled the great prophecy spoken of in Daniel 9:25 - “Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. 26 After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary.
Explained: the seventy “sevens” should be understood as seventy “weeks” of years, in other words, a period of 490 years. These verses provide a sort of “clock” that gives an idea of when the Messiah would come and some of the events that would accompany His appearance.
The prophecy goes on to divide the 490 years into three smaller units: one of 49 years, one of 434 years, and one 7 years. The final “week” of 7 years is further divided in half. Verse 25 says, “From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’” Seven “sevens” is 49 years, and sixty-two “sevens” is another 434 years:
    49 years + 434 years = 483 years
The prophecy contains a statement concerning God’s six-fold purpose in bringing these events to pass. Verse 24 says this purpose is 1) “to finish transgression,” 2) “to put an end to sin,” 3) “to atone for wickedness,” 4) “to bring in everlasting righteousness,” 5) “to seal up vision and prophecy,” and 6) “to anoint the most holy.”
Gabriel said the prophetic clock would start at the time that a decree was issued to rebuild Jerusalem. From the date of that decree to the time of the Messiah would be 483 years. We know from history that the command to “restore and rebuild Jerusalem” was given by King Artaxerxes of Persia c. 445 B.C. (see Nehemiah 2:1-8).
The first unit of 49 years (seven “sevens”) covers the time that it took to rebuild Jerusalem, “with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble” (Daniel 9:25). This rebuilding is chronicled in the book of Nehemiah.
Using the Jewish custom of a 360-day year, 483 years after 445 B.C. places us at A.D. 30, which would coincide with Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem (Matthew 21:1-9). The prophecy in Daniel 9 specifies that after the completion of the 483 years, “the Anointed One will be cut off” (verse 26). This was fulfilled when Jesus was crucified.
Daniel 9:26 continues with a prediction that, after the Messiah is killed, “the people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary.” This was fulfilled with the destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70.
Of the 70 “sevens,” 69 have been fulfilled in history. This leaves one more “seven” yet to be fulfilled. That is future.
Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies that He would first suffer - before coming into reign. Daniel 9:25 - 27 - cut off or killed before the 70 ad destruction.
Isaiah 53 - He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.....Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all... or he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was punished... Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes[c] his life an offering for sin,.... by his knowledge[f] my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.... For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressor.
Psalm 22: they pierced my hands and my feet.
Genesis 3:15 - And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring [and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” (pierced feet)
Zechariah 13:7-7“Awake, sword, against my shepherd, against the man who is close to me!” declares the Lord Almighty. “Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered, and I will turn my hand against the little ones.
Zechariah 12:10--And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.

This is why they argue about it. Some of it can be taken with a grain of salt, but if something is completely undisputed, or proven to be correct via scripture, then no.

Yes, the excuse in Rabbinic Judaism is that the Rabbis teach us the interpretations of verses. How do you interpret it?
If you interpret these things alone with no knowledge of the New Testament, and then introduce it, you’d probably reject it (Like the Karaites, who believe in scripture interpreting itself).
If you interpret it with the help of clergymen, you’re no different than us.

Rabbinic judaism is why our world is dieing and everyone is being punished, they made their own mishnah torah which blew up into Judahs own religion that they control not GOD! THE WRITTEN LAW IS GOD'S, THE REST IS MENS. The rabbis joined the world and left God. To obey the sages is to disobey God!
The rabbis also say none of us will ever be Holy enough to question anything the sages taught and so took all authority away from anyone who Gods Sends to teach us. They reject anyone who does not teach their way, they also joined the nations of gentiles and will never change!
Deuteronomy 4 New Living Translation (NLT)
    Moses Urges Israel to Obey
4 “And now, Israel, listen carefully to these decrees and regulations that I am about to teach you. Obey them so that you may live, so you may enter and occupy the land that the Lord, the God of your ancestors, is giving you. 2 DO NOT ADD TO or SUBTRACT FROM THESE COMMANDS I AM GIVING YOU you. Just obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you
    Deuteronomy 28:58
“If you refuse to obey all the words of instruction that are written in this book, and if you do not fear the glorious and awesome name of the Lord your God,
    Deuteronomy 28:61
The Lord will afflict you with every sickness and plague there is, even those not mentioned in this Book of Instruction, until you are destroyed.
    Deuteronomy 29:21
The Lord will separate them from all the tribes of Israel, to pour out on them all the curses of the covenant recorded in this Book of Instruction.
    Deuteronomy 30:10
The Lord your God will delight in you if you obey his voice and keep the commands and decrees written in this Book of Instruction, and if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and soul.
    Deuteronomy
Public Reading of the Book of Instruction
9 So Moses wrote this entire body of instruction in a book and gave it to the priests, who carried the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant, and to the elders of Israel. 10 Then Moses gave them this command: “At the end of every seventh year, the Year of Release, during the Festival of Shelters, 11 you must read this Book of Instruction to all the people of Israel when they assemble before the Lord your God at the place he chooses. 12 Call them all together-men, women, children, and the foreigners living in your towns-so they may hear this Book of Instruction and learn to fear the Lord your God and carefully obey all the terms of these instructions. 13 Do this so that your children who have not known these instructions will hear them and will learn to fear the Lord your God. Do this as long as you live in the land you are crossing the Jordan to occupy.”
    (Ibid)
16 The Lord said to Moses, “You are about to die and join your ancestors. After you are gone, these people will begin to worship foreign gods, the gods of the land where they are going. They will abandon me and break my covenant that I have made with them. 17 Then my anger will blaze forth against them. I will abandon them, hiding my face from them, and they will be devoured. Terrible trouble will come down on them, and on that day they will say, ‘These disasters have come down on us because God is no longer among us!’ 18 At that time I will hide my face from them on account of all the evil they commit by worshiping other gods.
19 “So write down the words of this song, and teach it to the people of Israel. Help them learn it, so it may serve as a witness for me against them. 20 For I will bring them into the land I swore to give their ancestors-a land flowing with milk and honey. There they will become prosperous, eat all the food they want, and become fat. But they will begin to worship other gods; they will despise me and break my covenant. 21 And when great disasters come down on them, this song will stand as evidence against them, for it will never be forgotten by their descendants. I know the intentions of these people, even now before they have entered the land I swore to give them.”
    Joshua 1:8
Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.
    Yehoshua/Joshua/Isa chapter 8
    The Lord’s Covenant Renewed
30 Then Joshua built an altar to the Lord, the God of Israel, on Mount Ebal. 31 He followed the commands that Moses the Lord’s servant had written in the Book of Instruction: “Make me an altar from stones that are uncut and have not been shaped with iron tools.”[e] Then on the altar they presented burnt offerings and peace offerings to the Lord. 32 And as the Israelites watched, Joshua copied onto the stones of the altar[f] the instructions Moses had given them.
33 Then all the Israelites-foreigners and native-born alike-along with the elders, officers, and judges, were divided into two groups. One group stood in front of Mount Gerizim, the other in front of Mount Ebal. Each group faced the other, and between them stood the Levitical priests carrying the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant. This was all done according to the commands that Moses, the servant of the Lord, had previously given for blessing the people of Israel.
34 Joshua then read to them all the blessings and curses Moses had written in the Book of Instruction. 35 Every word of every command that Moses had ever given was read to the entire assembly of Israel, including the women and children and the foreigners who lived among them.
God is upset and they refuse to hear!!!
    Yeremiyahu/jeremiah chapter 8
They do not know the Lord’s laws.
8 “‘How can you say, “We are wise because we have the word of the Lord,”
when your teachers have twisted it by writing lies?
9 These wise teachers will fall
into the trap of their own foolishness,
for they have rejected the word of the Lord.
Are they so wise after all?
    Malachi chapter 3
    The Lord’s Promise of Mercy
16 Then those who feared the Lord spoke with each other, and the Lord listened to what they said. In his presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared him and always thought about the honor of his name.
17 “They will be my people,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. “On the day when I act in judgment, they will be my own special treasure. I will spare them as a father spares an obedient child. 18 Then you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.”
    Chapter 4
Malachi 4 New Living Translation (NLT)
    The Coming Day of Judgment
4 [a]The Lord of Heaven’s Armies says, “The day of judgment is coming, burning like a furnace. On that day the arrogant and the wicked will be burned up like straw. They will be consumed-roots, branches, and all.
2 “But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings.[b] And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture. 3 On the day when I act, you will tread upon the wicked as if they were dust under your feet,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.
4 “REMEMBER TO OBEY THE LAW OF MOSES, MY SERVANT -ALL THE DECREES AND REGULATIONS THAT I GAVE HIM ON Mount Sinai FOR ALL ISRAEL.
    Yeremiyahu/jeremiah chapter 31(also Ezekiel 18)
27 “The day is coming,” says the Lord, “when I will greatly increase the human population and the number of animals here in Israel and Judah. 28 In the past I deliberately uprooted and tore down this nation. I overthrew it, destroyed it, and brought disaster upon it. But in the future I will just as deliberately plant it and build it up. I, the Lord, have spoken!
29 “The people will no longer quote this proverb:
‘The parents have eaten sour grapes,
but their children’s mouths pucker at the taste.’
30 All people will die for their own sins-those who eat the sour grapes will be the ones whose mouths will pucker.
31 “The day is coming,” says the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and Judah. 32 This covenant will not be like the one I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand and brought them out of the land of Egypt. They broke that covenant, though I loved them as a husband loves his wife,” says the Lord.
33 “But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel after those days,” says the Lord. “I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 34 And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying, ‘You should know the Lord.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already,” says the Lord. “And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.”
35 It is the Lord who provides the sun to light the day
and the moon and stars to light the night,
and who stirs the sea into roaring waves.
His name is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies,
and this is what he says:
36 “I am as likely to reject my people Israel
as I am to abolish the laws of nature!”
COME HOME, COME HOME AND SEE, GOD IS CALLING ALL OF YOU🙂

You’re right! The rabbis changed and add so much laws (halachot) that most of the Jews in Israel are secular. We see the religious Jews and they (most of them) looking tired and unhappy. The Shabbat became to tiring day. We basically can’t do anything. No phones, no hot water, no sea, no nothing.

Jews and later Christians took it upon themselves to modify and change the words of Allah into becoming their scriptures. That's why their scriptures is fillee with contradictions and falsehood. For example... They say Abraham a. S. was a Jew when Judah as a nation only came into existence about 3000 years ago... When Abraham a.s. existed far earlier, during the Mesopotamian rise of civilisation approximately 4000 years ago. Why is Abraham a.s. called a Jew then???

The first time the word Jew was mentioned was in the Book of Esther: "Morderchai the Jew". This is because he Stood Up for what was right, just like his ancestor Yehuda, who Stood Up to Yosef in the defense of his brother Benjamin.
This isn't a contradiction. Jewishness became a spiritual attribute for the righteous Children of Israel
