Pages are not a measure of quality. My thesis had 15 pages of cover, 20 pages of reference, then including small introduction, literature review and conclusion and Further research end up 50 pages. So, 85 pages can be written in 2-3 months. Main work start after than, a PhD thesis normally is 150-250 pages however getting 350 pages is not rare. Finishing in less than 150 pages is rare.
Great video! I disagree regarding the corrections part. As for the German system, you will only be able to start writing your thesis and hand it in once you have discussed all your final results with your PI. Going back to the lab for another 6-12 months is just insane and very rarely happens.
Oh interesting! It's quite common in the UK to be at a distance from your PI and so sometimes, little discussion has gone on between you and you require major corrections.

300 pages thats a lot... my MBA thesis is around 105 pages in all...I will surely get to that level when I finally enrol for a PhD
