Your videos are so useful! My first assignment (research proposal) was a fail. I realised a d recently been diagnosed with ADHD. since then, after the support from uni but most of all from your videos I had 3x B's from other assignments. Still room for improvement. now commenting on this video over half a year since I first watched it to say thank you so so much Dr Amina. I just finished my intercalated degree as part of medical school, and ever since I started following your structure, every essay I wrote at medical school (bar one of them where I didn't really understand the question) I scored over 70. I just finished my finals now and don't know what grade I got yet, but I am very confident that thanks to your teaching I managed to improve my writing and researching skills. I really appreciate it. I feel like this kind of information should have been taught to us from first year! But now as a third year I am very grateful to have come across it. Thank you again!😊

I love the way you describe sentences etc as beautiful your passion and joy is inspiring.
My best paper at post grad level, has, thus far in my life, been equivalent to a B+. How did I achieve that? No clue. Do I know the subject? Yes, it was also my job too. No one at college or university - especially with my dyspraxia and lower spectrum dyslexia - ever sat me down and showed me how to write a paper. Same at work.
I'm now considering academic endeavours again, your video makes perfect sense, thank you - although I've yet to figure out what universities want in terms of the whole format and their phraseology has changed a little too.

Thank you so much. I have had my exams deferred due to some illness and Im sitting my exams this august. It's the first time I am writing a timed essay.. Does the evidence part relate to exam essay say for example for pharmacology exams??

Question: my uni has taught us not to suggest anything in the introduction of a research paper - everything should be derived from existing literature. The analysis part of your structure sounds like it would be contradicting this - any advice?

Absoloutely love your videos, really need it since I'm finishing my masters thesis. A bit beside the point, but is the website you're a part of kind of like those websites where you write essays for students? Would it be considered cheating if you would rewrite or restructure papers for people- wouldn't that be unfair?
Really good question. I founded The Page Doctor, it’s my company. We never write, restructure or change any part of your written work. We offer 2 things - firstly, a 1-1 mentoring consultation where you sit infront of one of our PhD researchers and they’ll help you plan your essay and address any questions you may have regarding it. The second thing we offer is proofreading and feedback which entails checking English Language and clarity, which, can have an impact on overall clarity and for many students where English is not the first language, this is unfortunate. The feedback aspect is similar to what your prof *should* be providing you - telling you how to strengthen a paragraph or discussion. But we will NEVER write or add anything to an essay. good question - the answer is no, you don't discuss or analyse in an introduction. i'll do a similar video for dissertation introductions :)

Amina for essays in your modules. It is expected to give evidence, however, the lecture content is the evidence we need. Therefore for my module I'll only reference outside reading not mentioned in the lecture notes
