George Loses Rumble In The Jungle | Big George Foreman (2023) | Now Playing - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน
i always hate when boxing movies re-enact a fight that looks nothing like how the actual fight went but this is one of the best portrayals ive seen. they got that knockout punch for punch as it happened. even the angles on the punches are correct
All they had to do for this fight was edit the real footage.
@@SuperChuckRaneyyeah it goes from 1080p to 120😂
IKR After watching this movie, I went on YT to see how the real fight went and it was nothing like this movie, which baffled me.
Will smiths Ali I thought did a good job at portraying this fight
Will smiths Ali was pretty close
If there was a sports star you ever want to teach your kids about George Foreman is on the short list. Turned his life completely around for the better.
George Foreman is a GREAT man
And Jim Laney was a good cop
Ali sounds like Denzel Washington
A little bit
Denzel should’ve played Ali instead of will but instead they made him play X
@SosaMyname Stop it. Denzel looks and sounds nothing like Ali. Yes, he's a great actor but to represent an entire race with one actor or actress is ridiculous.
@@SosaMynameThat Malcolm X movie is one of Denzel Washington best movies. He shoulda won award
I was thinking the same thing lol
... Forman was not laying on his back for the whole count.
he only has to be "not standing up on 2 feet"
He's up at 9 but was beaten. No question about it.
The dude from black panther is on there
Well, If we were talking about what happened in the whole fight that didn't shows up on this scene... we be talking about A LOT of picture perfect clean punches that simply aren't there in the scene.
He tried to get up.
"My turn" 🤣😂🤣😂
That part made me cringe
@@theartshow1476well Ali probably said it.
No. Nobody said that.
"My turn"?😂😂😂😂
LOL cringe
@@FatherofMan25Ali actually mocked Foreman throughout the entire fight like that. Thats just how Ali was.
They should have shown the opening salvo that Ali threw - right-hand leads in between Foreman's gloves that landed on his face. I think Ali threw 12 of them in the first minute of the fight, landing more than half. The damage was minor, but it did manage to enrage George - meaning, when Ali retreated to the ropes in the 2nd round, pissed-off-George was more than happy to stand there throwing hooks and uppercuts trying for the big knockout. Abandoning his plan and playing right into Ali's.
Rope a dope was started in 3Rd round.
I mean Ali was honestly winning the fight until the KO IMO. First 3 rounds he absolutely cooked George. Rest was close but I think Ali did enough in between.
To be fair Foreman got up on his feet at the count of 8. I know it doesn't matter now but facts are facts.
He would have just been knocked down again, he was done
Learn boxing rules just because you're up doesn't mean you're up
He was counted out at ten. Just check the time on TH-cam. Btw, Big George himself has commented that he got up too late.
they said you was bad george lol
Funny fact ...Foreman never contested the decision or the counting ,but the fans do😅😅
exactly...
Because foreman left nothing with him in that match.
they portray this how Ali told it afterwards, but Foreman hit him with some fucking heavy smoke in the early rounds. Watch the fight and you can see clearly that Ali did “rope a dope” because he had NO OTHER CHOICE.
Yrs but truth is Ali started that strategy in 3Rd round.
Enjoyed this film. The fight scenes are most realistic I’ve seen in a boxing movie.
Yeah that was great.
Ali and Foreman were perfectly casted
Hell no , the Ali movie with will smith was better this foo don’t even look like Ali
@@conormayweather5474 leave meth alone, buddy. Will Smith was a terrible ali. This guy sounds and acts exactly like ali
Looks were terrible but the acting was spot on
@@YoushouldNOW221 "looks were terrible" what a dumb comment. Name a film that did better with casting ali/foreman's appearances.. will smith looks nothing like him. faces hardly matter.. acting out their mannerisms correctly is 85% of what makes them look real and like you said, the acting is spot on
@mantellim5489 brother, these men did NOT look the part, played the part hell yeah but they're definitely not recognizable as their real life counterparts
The only think i wish they did in this film was show how archie Moore taught him the cross guard for when he came back. Moore is in the film it wpuldnt be hard to do
6:39 = That all happened at/near the end of round 5, not round 7 .... trust me, I've watched that fight 30 times .....
Love that they added the famous bird eye photo of the KO.
The actor looks more like a young Ernie Shavers than George Foreman
Absolutely!
Foreman was rigid and more aggressive that time
He kinda looks like Muhammad Ali’s brother Rahman.
George Foreman had Knicks and cuts above the eyes..! Foreman was pelted with punches
I watched it live when I was 12? That fight was brutal really. There is a shot of Ali getting hit so hard ALL the sweat is knocked off his head, it flies out like 5 feet.
George was getting hit with right hand leads ALL NIGHT. I know they all say Ali couldn't punch but it's a trained fighting 200+ pounds hitting you like that over and over, it doesn't matter who you are you're going to go down.
@@sleazyfellow Ali understood the ART of hitting, he lays his jab in there AS A JAB. It's meant to be a GET BACK or points hit.
The jab isn't meant to BE a full power hit. I watched most of his fights live on TV afte about 74.
He can power punch too, don't let the JAB fool you. Lots of grown tough pro boxers found out right quick after a 10 count. You don't knock pro boxers out or even around if you can't lay a real one in there when you want.
Guys like Foreman and Tyson think everything should be a BOMB. And Tyson's stance and height worked in his favor. Go watch his 20th fight, that guy was a mover and counter puncher and he beat Tyson pretty easy. Ali would have beaten Tyson too.
Ali was the greatest. But foreman later become champion at 45 yo.
If Foreman won this fight that would have never happened. Forman was already great as a Gold medalist and world Champ and to make the comeback winning the Belt again at 45 and fighting till 48 years old made him even more special a fighter.
Great scene I was a Ali fan of course but to know George is to love George.
So good!
Ali won the fight, but Foreman won the war. Lived a healthy, happy life with his family.
Awesome 👍🏾
Ali was so smart to think im gonna take the hardest hitter's punches and tire him out. That's insane and the right strategy. If he fought normally he could've lost. Ali was amongst the best ever but he wasn't the best ever on every night. Forman is amongst the best ever as well.
Wow Ali actor Sullivan Jones look like singer Randy Travis!
The Rope A Dope
8:27
Hollywood. Ali landed a good shot. George was still hammering.
I started watching from 5:39 and thought it was an AI generatged fight
The film should have dubbed Colonel Bob Sheridan and David Frost’s TV commentary, and should also have put emphasis on the fight taking place in the middle of the night (and its associated eeriness). Also, Foreman was up before the count reached 10.
What’s my name wasn’t against Forman😂
Why watch a movie if the real fight is available in HD and one hundred times better
At least they depicted the fight much better than the 2001 Ali film, Ali boma-ye!
no they didnt Ali was damn near dead they have Ali fresh in this movie
@@raythompsoniii7215 Ali Boma-ye...
@@mrchavez815 no I love Ali literally my hero but the Ali movie was better than this movie the portrayal that is
@@raythompsoniii7215I think it’s less like Ali was ACTUALLY unharmed by George but more like in George’s eyes, Ali wasn’t hurt even though he really was
Next year it's been 50 years since Rumble in the jungle and to this day people pretend that the so called rope-a-dope tactic was all Ali did in that fight. But nobody wants to talk about how Ali was up on all the judges scorecards when the knock out happened. Why is that?
Was it all rigged?
The night the rope-a-dope was born. Ali let Foreman punch and punch until he ran out of gas, then Ali went for the kill.
thats not how the fight went lol. Ali wasnt loosing the whole fight till the end lol
Angelo Dundee who trained Ali said at one point he slapped Ali on the ass and said "GET OFF THE ROPES YOU DOPE"!
Now he'll go take it out on Earn
One must wonder if George should have stopped punching away at Ali after round 5 or 6 and then spent the rest of the fight trying to wear him down by dodging punches in order to win. I would imagine that if he had done just that, he might have won by decision for landing the most punches. But that's just my wild guess. Of course, we all know this isn't how the fight really went. Neither is this the first time a Boxing film based on a true story portrayed a Boxing match differently form what really happened. The same thing was done with Raging Bull. And although that fight between Jake LaMotta and Sugar Ray Robinson was portrayed inaccurately, it was still entertaining.
Ali roasted Foreman so bad and got in his head. Beat him in and out of the ring. Ali Boumaye!!
Not quite real. Ali was winning the fight on the official scorecards of the first 7 rounds (68-66, 70-67, 69-66), and would have added a couple points more difference after the knockdown on the eighth. Just watch the actual fight here on TH-cam. Ali dominated the whole fight due to strategy.
😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Who did the casting of Ali lol
The audio matching is not good for Ali.
ye
I hate to say it but this movie is all over the place. They should have made it a series because there is hardly any character development in the movie
It wasn't totally realistic Ali beat Foreman up badly throughout the fight catching him with wicked combinations tying him up
Agreed. I believe some even had Ali winning every round.
They look and sound nothing like their real counterparts.
Muhammad Ali was bigger than boxing a funny and the greatest human over all
Foreman big problem in this fight was Ali had already beat the baddest man ever in Sonny Liston so George was a baby to him and wasnt intimidated, plus Ali still had some quickness and was able to hit Foreman with good shots and let George tire himself out with rope a dope.
He was fighting a god at that time. Foreman wasn't a god just yet.
these era of boxers had a great chin..........i dont see this anymore
Watch the DOCUMENTARY "When We Were Kings", shows you that Hollywood messes up the greatest stories.
Made the rumble in the jungle look like a sissy slap fight
NOW GO WATCH THUNDER RUSH MOVIE! 👍
This version of Ali is better than Will Smith's potrayal of Ali
this Ali was wack. Nothing like Will's performance.
This fight also proved.. Ali's Religion 🇸🇦is true..🥊
What about Mike Tyson Vs Holyfield?
@@user-ue7ct9te1t Mike Tyson is a follower of md.Ali ,he accepted the Islam 🇸🇦
@@syedfayaz2149 ??
Ali played by lightskin Denzel
Ehhh Will Smiths Ali movie was better
I think the director tried to disguise the poorly choreographed fight sequences by hiring actors that look nothing like Ali and Forman, a distraction or slight of hand, if you will. But the deeper fake is to hire actors who do not look like the fighters, a fight sequence that doesn't look like a fight, all to disguise the terrible script - a lot of thinking and creativity went into those fakes....
terrible.... did they not watch the actual fight.
Why??
@@EraldoPiccione Did you watch the fight?
I do. Multiple times. They were very accurate here. Way more than in Ali movie.
Yeah they did. I know foreman got up at 9 but it's not like it was going to matter. Foreman went in playing checkers and Ali was playing chess. Not a particularly exciting fight but had a great moment at the end.
i don't know which is worse... the fight choreography or the esthetics of the entire movie???
Both are pretty terrible and it seems wrong to call one worse than the other...
This movie was poorly directed
Le match est très mal filmé dans la réalité Ali donnait la leçon à Foreman dès le premier round il n’est pas resté dans les cordes pendant les 8 rounds à se faire tabasser c’est n’importe quoi
Not well done at all.
so bad!
Çok kalitesiz bir film olmuş. 👎
Lousy fight sequence .CGI or whatever looks terrible
The scene under the house stopped me watching anymore of this crap
Terrible casting, George wasn't black 'black' like a Ron Lyle who this actor looks more like. George has native American ancestry in his make-up and the older bald version of George these features are quite apparent. To cast a run of the mill black actor to play George is typical of a culture that lumps people of African heritage together regardless of other racial lineage in their biological make-up. As for the actor playing Ali and goodness me Will Smith was toe-curling enough, but if they can't be bothered to find an actor even slightly capable of portraying the unique aura, charisma and personality of the great man, don't bother touching the subject, just leave it be.
What a shit movie🤔
One of, if not the worst cinematic boxing fight I've seen.
Looks like a parody movie ffs.
But why?
This movie made a huge mistake, going out of its way to not show Don King! And don't t give me that " Don King ripped off his own people " bullshit! Yall weren't saying shit while the white promoters and managers were ripping black fighters off and leaving them totally broke in the end! Management and ownership and promoters and producers is a corrupt occupation, be it the owners of Walmart, or boxing! They are the pimps, and they break the whores! At least Don KING let black fighters he pimped, get their share and become millionaires. The Jewish and Italian pimps of boxing left black fighters penniless! This movie would have even been far more entertaining and colorful had they depicted Don King Moore in the movie hats off to the kid that played Muhammad Ali in this movie, he did a great job and gave it some much-needed comic relief and touching moments. I urge the reader to go back and get the movie Tyson, in which Paul Winfield plays Don King and he does an extremely good job they really show what that game is all about and that King was being like any other businessman. I also urge the reader to go and get Don King only in America with Ving Rhames. Another fine example of Kings black maleness his strength is courage and his intelligence, knowing his place in a white corrupt game and he got his piece of it and he allowed these black athletes to get their piece. Had all of these black boxers had to deal with these Italians and Jews the way that Don King did, many of these Fighters would have come up dead under suspicious circumstances
Is this a movie ? Most rediculius figuring g scenes
