I love the way you go threw everything ..... makes it so much more interesting for people like me that are not in the know with the workings of all the machines ..... thanks for a great vid
Thanks Stephen! :) that’s exactly the sort of thing I love to hear my mate, thank you! I’ve said it a lot, but my biggest fear was people thinking I’m big headed or full of myself because I like to try to explain things.
Went to MMS yesterday, surprised I didn't see you. Saw Georgie, Liz and muck from a distance. There was some pretty impressive kit there. Had to have a sit in the versatiles, they were awesome. The krone big X was bigger than I was expecting too.

Well I've finally managed to sit down an watch the latest Jonny chapter. Yet another top quality video my friend. Really looking forward to the midland machinery show video
Hello Mr Johnny The arm used to lift seed bags on the trailer I think is fantastic, can you tell me how it works. Didn't see tractor attached to the trailer for the use of the hydraulics.
Thanks Leon! She’s due for a wax and a polish once I get finished drilling. Luckily it’s not been raining that much so it’s kept pretty clean, worst thing about winter is having to put up with a dirty tractor lol I can stand the cold, but not a dirty tractor lol
Thanks bob! It’s not my best unfortunately, didn’t get chance to get any outside footage...but I remembered to keep my head still for about 3minutes, which is a new record for me 😂
Hi Jonny, Good to see you again! Another fantastic educational video, I very much enjoyed it :) Hope you're keeping well and things are going ok for you and your family. Take care mate and have great week! :)
Hi Phillip! Thanks my mate, and thank you for always taking the time to ask about the family too :) were all looking forward to see the smiles on the children’s faces at Christmas :) it will be a very sad one, but the seeing the kids enjoying themselves will help us all get through it :)
@@Jonny1388 Bless, that's the thing about children, even in the most sad times, they'll always bring out the good and happiness which is what makes them a blessing :)
Hiya Charlie! Yes I do thanks my mate, last couple of vids I haven’t had chance to use it. Plus I need to remember my crowbar to get it off things lol It’s very very good indeed! Hope your keeping well mate :)
A sponge roller never seen that before?, like a line of Jaffa cakes looking good enough to eat....no stop it lol. great info on how you deal with weed control very interesting and a beautiful bit of kit thanks Jonny stay warm.
Oh god mark...don’t say that, I’ll be chewing on it all week 😂😂😂 Hope your well my mate? It’s certainly turned cold today hasn’t it! I was absolutely freezing stood about talking to people today...i think all this fancy climate control in the tractors has made me go soft lol :)
Jonny 1388 doing ok thanks mate. Just wanted to say thank you for all the technical stuff you put in your films, had no real idea how you did weeding on an organic farm. Also the little reviews you do of your tractors is good.
Great video Jonny great explanation of ur work practices, wud love to see a video of ur inter row cultivation in ur cereal crops pretty mind blowing stuff that I wud think all the best ...
Hiya Robert! I 100% intend to do a video of the inter row weeding :) It’s not one of my jobs on the farm but I will have to make sure I film it. It’s some seriously clever kit :)
Love the video jonny, really interesting. As a desk jockey I’m fascinated with farming and tractors so appreciated the detailed description of how you do things. One question - why do you use the case on the drill rather than the 1050? Is it down to weight or because you prefer to use your Tractor? Cheers Wil
😂😂😂 it came from the heart dude 😂😂 How you finding FS19? I might need to pick your brains on what software I need to record myself playing it and how you go about filming yourself :)
@@Jonny1388 no worries buddy you've got me on Facebook so shoot me a PM on I will get you set up with something for TeamSpeak. its a voice communication server which is private it just got a few farming simulator TH-camrs that come on.
Similar outfit to mine. Mine is a Kuhn power Harrow and weaving drill with 260hp new Holland. Our hopper didn’t come with any wheels on so we mounted a 2m packer roller on, increased speed by nearly 1km/hr. but as you said if you put it too low it messes with the Gps. I have to run mine at 30 on the front lift. Also do you run your pto in 1000 economy or 1000? I run mine at 1000 economy, is quieter and uses less fuel. Another great video. Thanks mate.
That’s a good idea mounting a packer roller, I’ve not seen that done before. I imagine it carry’s the weight better than wheels? Yeah, mine really does mess with the GPS if it’s too low, if it’s getting empty, il run it at 50 and when it’s full il have it at 60. Have you got the metering wheel on the hooper or is yours on the drill? I haven’t got 1000e on the 240, just 540 540e and 1000. It would really help on the light land to have 1000e, really don’t need the Revs on some very light land we’ve got :)
Yeah better than the wheels as more width does a good job on getting a tilt as well. I don’t have a metering wheel, on top of front tank there is a Gps sensor that measures the speed. I got a video I did back in April when I had combination with beet drill on on my TH-cam channel with the front roller and from inside.
Hiya Dylan! We’ve been very lucky here in the uk, we’ve had very little rain and the temperatures have been well above average. The weather has just started to turn colder, so I think we will be finished sowing this week. I’ll start again in the spring in late March :)
