Great videos Thanks for making them! One quick question... just like your KX250, (but mine's a 1994 RM250) I'm replacing my crank pin and connecting rod. My big end bearing was totally gone, not even any evidence of the needle bearings when I took it apart but the inside of my crank halves were VERY clean (strange though). Never the less, would you recommend that I replace the crank bearings even though there is no evidence of contamination? THANKS AGAIN!
Honestly, ..... didn't have the right filler rod for that cheap pot metal aluminum on hand, and I had some really good two part "oil resistant enginge grade metal filler" epoxy that I wanted to try from the industrial supplier. There's been clutch oil in those cases for like 6 months now, and not a drop has seeped out.
I got mine off of a mac tool truck around 20 years ago when I was still in Marylandistan but you can get a kit like that from any reputable tool outlet

yes definitely replace the crank bearings anytime you get metal debris floating around down there.
Thank you for the good advice.🙂@@cycleforlife2170
How come you didn't tig weld the cut in the case while it was apart.
