My X2 has a blank display. Only had it for 1.5 months on a brand new home. Was working fine until now. I held down the reset and PRG button for 30 seconds and it did not reset. What can I do next?
Is this meant to be hunters newest upgraded controller? I recently bought the the PRO-HC controller and installed on my home irrigation system because of it being the newest most advanced residential controller by hunter before this came out. Is this suppose to more advanced or have more features than the Pro HC making it worth replacing the Pro HC with the new controller? or is this not a more advance new model compared to the Pro Hc and is just meant for people that prefer more of basic simple controller? Bescause it doesn’t look like an upgrade at all to me from the videos. Thanks
Thank you for contacting Hunter Technical Support. Hello, A common reason for a controller to repeat a cycle is too many programmed start times. Only one start time per program is required, but a second start time will cycle the program a second time. Note: In the Start Times dial position, the numbers 1-4 do not represent stations. The numbers represent the program start times. Each program can cycle up to 4 times per day to water. A single start time will activate all stations sequentially in a program. If you want the stations to operate one time in sequential order, then start times 2, 3, and 4 should be turned OFF. Multiple start times in a program can be used for the separate morning, afternoon, or evening watering cycles. Individual stations are assigned to a program (A, B, C). Each program requires only one start time to initiate a watering sequence of all the stations assigned to that program. Start times are assigned to programs, not stations. The controller will operate the stations in numerical order. When a station has completed its watering time, the controller will switch to the next station in that program automatically. This system makes no sense; I am new to an area that now requires irrigation, and this system is pre-installed. I need simple help, how to turn on all stations at once to run and turn off??
Thank you for contacting Hunter Technical Support. To run a test program on your X2, please see the instructions below. A test program can be set to run each station for a duration of 1 to 15 minutes. After entering the run duration, the test program will start within a few seconds. You can also run a single zone from the controller. Learn more: www.hunterindustries.com/support/x2-manual-station

It doesn’t work like that unfortunately. Just runs by zones.
It is user friendly
So glad it helped you out.
