Sooo glad I found this. Even if you don't want it quite that messy, the technique of rolling the doughnut from the end of the pony will achieve that really big, softer bun. LOVE IT!

Thanks for this tutorial, the sock bun definitely works best for my hair especially since I have layers, I can easily tuck them into the sock bun. It's quick too!

I want your hair! I am taking Viviscal to grow my hair because it's thinning hair and I feel it doesn't grow like when I was younger. I'm 44! Lol yeah my hair growth is at a different stage so I am taking Viviscal to help it grow and also I have been drinking Biotin 10,000 for about 6 yrs now to help as well with the process.

You could always secure it with a hair elastic or just add more bobby pins :)
Walamart. You can get a mesh bun for $6 so much easier to secure the bobby pins into it since it’s mesh. You can secure the bun to your head!
What product do you use to do your eyebrows? I have the same coloring as you & would like to try it. They look really nice.

Thanks so much! Try using coconut oil and taking vitamins everyday! Drink lots of water & it should help :)

How is the bun holding in place?
When you roll the hair down with the donut it should stay a little. But if you want it to be more secure you just use bobby pins :)

Thanks!! There were three sizes, small, medium, large. I got the large one bc I have so much hair & knew my hair would be able to cover the donut. Hope that helps!
