I bought it after this review, but I returned it few days after. I found the following problems : - it is quite heavy and large , so not really suitable for travelling. - very often it spits out water and steam, so the clothes get very wet. - the steam flow is not constant, after 10 seconds it loses power and it is when it starts dripping water. - the board accessory is useless for most clothes, it is too short . I went for the Philips 3000 series and I am very happy with it.
There are several vertical garment steamers that have written in their descriptions "one-year lifespan." Are all garment steamers like that or just those ones? And is that short lifespan related to the fact that it's a vertical steamer?
Love the video! I am actually thinking of buying this iron. After searching online I did not find the information of the dimensions of the Door Hanger. Could you please tell how big is the Door Hanger?
Hey great video! Any good on dress shirts / business shirts? Any reason you didn’t include it in the video? Is it ineffective for these shirts ? Thank you!
In case you still need an answer after 5 months - yes you can. Simply push on the little “hooks” that click into place when you assemble the board and pull on the part you want to remove.
@@RenovationBayBee no worries. The instructions booklet mentioned it comes with a travel pouch for the steamer. So I raised this with Amazon. They have now sent me a replacement bag
@@pw5609 thanks for mentioning this as I was also looking to purchase it from amazon but the description doesn't mention a travel bag... but if the actual instructions say it should then it should!
There's a delicate attachment, but I wouldn't rub it along the beads, but you can hoover over it and just let the steam move around the fabric. 100% to jeans 👍
I can't seem to find this product new on Amazon or am I looking at the right one? I used the link but it is over £100 !! is there a cheaper option that is perhaps the same but without the extra board bits etc?

Can it be used horizontally or do your items always have to be hanging up vertically so basically can I lay the clothing item on the floor and steam it
The other model I have purchased and review didn't come with one, so I don't suppose you have to, but the hanging board is really handy to use for this
Thanks for watching my video review, I hope it helps you to make your purchase or answer any questions.

Thank you for your feedback of your experience, the Philips one looks interesting and might be worth me reviewing that one too 👍

Well this one and the other one I've reviewed are still going strong 👌

The black board and small hook is 15" wide and 28" high
Really helpful!
I wonder if this can be used horizontally
No not this one no, it only works held upright

Thanks for your comment, sorry I missed it , glad Milan could help you
I've just purchased this item via Amazon. Was just wondering if your steamer came with a travel pouch as mine did not.
I don't think I got a pouch 🤔 everything in the vid was what came with it

Can shirts and collars be done
Yes they can, but not a big strong pressed crease line look.
Hello.. May I know is it suitable for beaded or lace dress/shirt? Is it okay use for jeans?

Seems to be out of stock in loads of places, have you tried Argos www.argos.co.uk/product/7828357
@@RenovationBayBee thank you. Its much more expensive than I thought it was going to be. I wanted to treat my mum to one
@Little Voice I didn't pay that much for it, so maybe they've struggled to get more stock 🤔

I'm not sure, I've not done it myself. Also the water chamber is at the bottom so not sure if that would effect the steam being on its side 🤔
@@RenovationBayBee Thanks
Very helpful………cheers👍
No problem 👍
Дякую за відео 😊
Hey, do you need to use the board behind it?
The other model I have purchased and review didn't come with one, so I don't suppose you have to, but the hanging board is really handy to use for this
@@RenovationBayBee thanks for your response!
Can you use it on bedding?
Yep and curtains 👍

I've popped a link in the description if you're looking where to buy it 👍

Brilliant, thank you. Even this undomesticated ol' geezer could understand your tutorial
