Thanks for the video but I went thru 2 of them already and decided to just go back to Downy wrinkle release spray. The spray works better for wrinkles and is less a hassle to use.
I heard that someone did get rid of the ones in the mattress with steam. The ones hiding in the frame, no. What you should consider if you're living in the dreaded economy apartment where the critters scurry between units at night. Get yourself a couple House Centipedes. They're the "Terminator" of Roaches Ants Silverfish etc so I presume Bed Bugs become targets for them. I think Gecko Lizard does the same thing. They eat the ones on the run. Between steaming, and (choose only one) Centipede or Lizard (as the lizard will eat the Centipedes)
@@redcrimson1028 If you know anyone who lives in an older (at least 50 years old not 25) building (House or basement apartment Ground Floor of old building), & have friends living in one, chances are high they have at least one House Centipede. If they leave them alone they breed and you only have to catch one or more, and release in your bedroom!! I didn't know about these rabid pest killers until I had my own older home. Where I lived before I had a silverfish and earwig infestation. Nasty things. They raid your pantry food. In my "new" "new -er" place I don't have anything bug or insect wise except spiders. I couldn't figure out why I wasn't hit by a storm of silverfish and earwigs like before, then caught sight of this zipping along the wall striped critter that made my hair stand up. Yikes. I found out that it's a Centipede and it was eating all the silverfish and any Roaches that might come along. I let them roam wherever. I caught 2 and took to work where we had a lot of silverfish. Gone! They can sniff out the pest. Places like grandma's house has them in the basement. There are Garden Centipedes, they're reddish brown not striped. I don't know if they could live in your house and survive. The House ones are meant to be inside your house. Ppl say they bite. I never have and I don't worry a bit about it. The other thing that DEFINITELY works. Put your stuff like bed outside in sub zero weather or if you have a freezer or can get hold of DRY Ice. Freezing kills them. There is a Tick spray for dog beds. It might help. I read that there's something you can eat...*that alters how your blood tastes or smells to the bed bug*. Supposed to make them less interested in you as their victim. I don't remember what unfortunately. Maybe Garlic?? I'm pretty sure eating chips and sugary crap makes you a dessert to them so maybe more raw Garlic might piss them off.
I just bought one and it doesnt remove creases as well as a steam iron and it takes twice as long, personally I dont see any reason to buy one, so its going back to Amazon tomorrow.
