Im doing an adorable cow❤ Im 13 and started crocheting when I was 9😅 You inspire me so much❤❤❤
Im making a couple of orange octopus' with looong loong legs. Not the babies. its fun to make their little twisty tentacles.
Right now I’m making a baby blanket for my first pregnant friend ever like I’m really finna be an aunt 😱🤩. I’m also gonna make a matching set of booties, mittens, & a beanie. Gotta have that done before the baby shower on the 14th so gotta hurry but also i should be good. I’ve also been working on the first lil baby steps of starting my own crochet business! Like name & logo type stuff rn so I can make my socials & start posting plushies before like I actually can launch the Etsy. I really hope I can commit to making videos about this journey like from the start & share on TH-cam. I don’t see a lot of ppl just starting out like they always have had their business then start a new TH-cam talking about it or vlogging. I wanna be able to make those vlogs & stuff right from the beginning & share the growth. Anyway you’re one of the crocheters on TH-cam that have been a big inspiration & huge help. I’m def gonna be investing in your pricing calculator & new finance tracker! I’m right on time hopping on the wave of crochet business girlies huh lol. But thanks so much for all your tips & help i appreciate how much you’re encouraging us to start our businesses 🥰💖🌸 I’m super excited & obsessed with this endeavor & can’t wait to see how my life changes. Gotta commit tho & be consistent. That’s my biggest struggle with anything I try to do so I really don’t want this to slip through my fingers just cuz I don’t put in the work. Honestly, this was so helpful. I was doing the challenge but ended up with a migraine off and on the whole week. I had planned to finish 17 fruit snails by the end of the week, and only managed to finish 3 and the half of 3. So, it was a rough week. It’s helpful to know that I wasn’t struggling alone. ❤ thanks for keeping it real!

I like the idea of 2 hours a day!!! I get overwhelmed but I think setting a time limit would be productive yet keep me in balance with life.
The challenge helped me get organized and feel ready. Not a lot of crochet got done but more of the unfun stuff got organized so I know now what I need to do.

I honestly loved the longer video. I’m also a masters student and honey the classes and course load are no joke. Even being online. 😮💨. BUT while listening to your video, and sneaking peeks, I was able to make 2 little bao dumplings bodies, finish one, and start another. I loved being able to see what a week for you was like because I could relate. I’m looking forward to when the semester is over (2 weeks) and I’m free to crochet and prep and chill as much as my wrists and shoulders will allow!

I love the clay brick color for chickens and that color has been a best seller for me. Right now I have obsessed with making the mama chicken from the same pattern creator as the regular ones.

You should try making crocheted scrunchies so basically you need and you need hair ties and you just crochet around and then you get the ruffles. It’s really good and they have sold very very good so I do recommend doing crochet scrunchies even pom-poms. That’s what me and my friend have been making mystery facts, and bracelets for business maybe you wanna try one of those free options?

I've been working on my first highland cow pattern. I was super excited to make this until I got to the sewing part. 🤣 This is attempt number three in attaching the head to the body. Wish me luck!
Are you using sticks to hold the head in place? I use skewers. Game changer!!

lol, I have the same problem with my smartwatch. My sister and I were doing a challenge and she called me and said how did you get 8000 steps lol. that is when I realized what was happening. Now I can think about my day and separate the 2 and know what my real steps are.
I loved the challenge! I’m continuing to crochet for a minimum of 2 hours per day. Working on a velvet headband right now 😊
this past 2 weeks ive been able to get keychains, kittys, fish baby rattles, whales, coasters, chickens, and still working on a dc triangle shawl . i got 3 weeks left to finish the shawl, do market bags, turtles, bees, my bee order, dolphins, and washclothes before my scheduled markets

I really enjoyed the challenge week... ended up with 65 velvet hair scrunchies, along with some assorted other items. My goal is 100 scrunchies, so I'm still working on them.
