I shop at Temu only when necessary, but I NEVER judge someone for doing so. People are too much sometimes
I don't think it's anyone business what you buy, especially as you mentioned when sooo many things we all have in our house were made unethical in China. Your temu video was super fun to watch and it's sad that many people are taking it askew..

I totally agree with what you say about Temu. I recently got hurt and I can’t work so I decided to try Temu for the first time to get stuff to focus on my crochet. This channel I have is about how it is here Tijuana Mexico where I live but I crochet! Amazon and I will say a lot of that comes from China. My son is 15 years old and didn’t like me ordering from temu. I got what I needed and it’s not something I will constantly due. I agree with you I did it because I don’t have the money. So sorry for such a long comment. Love your videos

I'd never tried to make plushies before because I just never really thought about trying out blanket yarn with amigurumi BUT when I saw your finished Cato I had to try her. I started her on Saturday and will probably finish her today(Monday) or tomorrow. Thanks for the inspiration!

literally whenever i bring newer smaller items, they get so much attention than the generic things😭 i always try to expand especially knowing if there are other crocheters
It’s neat to compare really, because sometimes I won’t sell one Dino/chicken and this weekend that’s all that sold 😅🥲 I’m constantly searching for new stuff 🫡 because YES there’s so many of us marketing now I can’t go to an event and be the only fiber artist, which is also where having the eyes and Ami sticks was so cool this market 🥹🥹 lol

The problem wasn't that you ordered from Temu it's the fact that you and many other small businesses buy stolen artwork (stickers usually) and then distribute them. And of course the people stealing and selling them are the main problem but you (and others) still bought the stolen art.
Just wanted to mention I'm not angry at you or any other small business doing this. I just feel like it's something most people don't think about and it should be acknowledged.

My WIP bin was just upgraded because I have too many. My attention span is too short for some projects 😅 or a new pattern catches my attention. Great during market time though for quick projects.

I would use the fluffy yarn as borders for baby blankets, hair for dolls or something small for me because fluffy yarn is expert mode…

A little secret, my first name is pronounced an-hel-ic-a! Don’t feel bad about mispronouncing it- it’s hard to tell! I’ve gotten everything from Angelica to Anhelina to Popolika.

It really is hard to figure out what to make when it comes to popular patterns and not popular. I think if you know you’re gonna be the only crochet plushie vendor the popular stuff is a must but if you aren’t that’s where you have to figure out how to stand out, and unfortunately most bigger events seem to have a silly amount of crochet vendors these days 😅 love your videos as always, I watched till the end and I’m market prepping right now and heard my name and looked up so quick 🤣

I've used temu a few times because I just don't have the money to spend 10 euros for 6 safety eyes, 15 euros for one hook, or 7 euros for 5 stitch markers... In my country, all crafts stuff are so expensive, and I think amazon is as bad as temu, but only more expensive, and the last time I ordered from there, it came after nearly 7 months, and the quality was soooo low.
I WANT to make my own stickers for my small biz one day, since I am an artist too, but it'll take a lot of time, effort and money, and since I like to give multiple stickers as freebies for people who order from me, I'd be losing money right now since I don't have sticker making stuff!

Oh, and I buy 98% of my yarn from hobbii, it's really cheap, especially if you like cotton yarn, like I do. Just a tip for crocheters trying to save money

Hi! I am so curious about your safety eyes. I bought a few unpainted sets from Amazon and I’m looking at your cup backs and these are flat. Is that ok? I paint the eyes and am trying to sell them on Etsy. Are the flat backs ok? I’ll send a pic to your messenger
If the backs don’t have a stick coming out to secure them to plushy’s, then they probably aren’t safety eyes. I have seen flat back eyes before but they are even higher of a choking hazard than the securable ones. I’m sure you could still sell them with caution friend
people are sooo quick at judging small businesss and creators when it comes to sustainability 🙄 when in reality it's big companies that are the doing the most damage...
