A most excellent review. This set is definitely on my shortlist. Had Dunu priced it $40 cheaper it would be much more tempting.

@@akros9333 I am asking this over and over again sry, but this helps me to get a better picture. When olina SE is lets say 95% as good as oxygen, is the new falcon even closer? 😊. You said that both of them are close, but how close really is each of them?

Truth is they are both excellent and both solid options over the Oxygen.
Obviously the VE has a price advantage

Great video! How would you compare the Dunu Falcon Ultra to the Celest Phoenixcall and Tanchjim Kara? All brand new releases, and all given big praise by yourself

Thanks, greeat review. I have watched many reviews of this product and appreciate your comparisions and notes on sound qualities beyound the graphs.
Current set I'm running very nice. Love the look. I use hidizs s3 pro and shanling UA4 with it and i can not pop ut more than 3 to 4 volume they are so loud. As a metal head they trasnlate my music as if im in the studio ... Love them. But gave the Hype 2 or 4 in my sights. Great job!
Did you do the Oxygen comparison with your original unit, or one of the newer generation models? This seems like a really solid option for a higher end single DD.

I wanted to know your views on the Falcon Ultra compared to the Moondrop KATO. I am looking for better bass (more impact), possibly better sound stage and imaging..
I know that no iem is perfect so if I can get maybe two out of the three things I listed that would be great! If you have any other iems that you think I should consider please share them as well.

Thanks for review on the latest release Akros! Dunu solid brand overall, but higher-priced 1DD are tough sells in modern market
Yes I agree but I believe it has enough going for it to justify its existence.
TBH, I think otherwise. 240 bucks for the sound quality and accessories provided I feel this is too cheap. I can't wait for his arrival in my country. Never judge iem by the number of drivers, but judge it by the sound quality..

Bass and mids are very equal.....perhaps a little extra note weight for the Serial and a little cleaner slam for Dunu.
Difference is upper mids and treble, Dunu is cleaner and more detailed....but small difference.
For me the DD references are...Oxygen ...VE SIE.... Serial...EA500 and now Falcon....that I think summarises how I rate the Dunu

I’m leaning towards the falcon ultra after hearing your opinion.
I brought the Penon 10th after watching your review on it and I am really enjoying it. Might try a different brand and go DUNU instead.
Do you have any thoughts on how these compare to the 634Ears that you recently reviewed? Thos were single DD as well.
Personally this makes more sense.... basically same level of build quality, sound has similar phylosophy but I connected more with the Dunu

After buying the Truthear Zero:Red I discovered that my ears are pretty small
I use spinfit ss tips and Moondrop Starfield fits perfectly
The spin fit w100 will work on them it's kind of a tight fit but it'll work also the new SS will work on them if two is a little tight fit that's a fairly big nozzle that is so that all your glorious music can slam into your eardrum
What is the best option for 200 usd max? This one or Hisenior T4 or venture electronics Sie or Qoa Gimlet? All 4 good iems but is there big difference in quality? Which has the best natural timbre/resolution in all frequencies with good sparkle and is balanced?

Overpriced ? IMHO, Yes, around 150$ and this would have been up for grabs. Seriously tuned tribids and planars come cheaper than this price .
Hi :) 0:04 did you mean, updated version to the falcon pro? Or original Falcon 😅? Cause this is already thirth version and acceptance factor is rising with time, with every update of it. Falcon pro were better accepted than OG falcon if I am not mistaken :) and then this one...

With the proper ear tips and the proper seal you will get really good base now are they specifically designed for heavy base no but you will get really nice bass and remember you can always eat you a little extra base if you need it
