Just installed Remark Muffler Axleback Exhaust Burnt Double Wall, thank you 🙏🏼 for the video. This was supper easy. The only thing I would add is to double check the bolts after testing the car out. Make sure the bolts are tight enough and no gas is leaking from the connection.
To anyone who plans on doing exhaust replacements, I HEAVILY recommend grabbing an exhaust hanger removal tool. A good one can be bought for right about $20-$30 and will become an invaluable tool in your collection. Exhaust install by myself with no lift took like an hour or so.
The reason we went with the single wall was for purely for looks. There is no noticeable sound difference when comparing the two. Yes, it's bone stock!
What is the cabin drone like when out on the road?? A video from inside whilst driving would be helpful... Nothing like a done headache after a few hours on the road 😵💫
Coming from a 2021 STI with a Tomei, there is some drone; however, it is nothing that could be found annoying. From our experience, someone who is worried about drone should look to the ETS Quiet Axleback or the Nameless 4" Axleback. These are both great systems that give you some more tone and volume, but will reduce any drone.
Just installed the muffled ETS on mine today. Is it just me but, I can’t remember there being factory gaskets inbetween the mufflers and the Y pipe at the connection. Or at least, I didn’t get one off it….is there one? Now I’m all paranoid 😂 thinking I woulda had to see one if there was one. My connection looked nice n flush though with the ETS supplied one 👍🏻
You’ll get some here and there in manual mode if you get a good up shift near the 5-6k rpm’s. I get a “pop” sound when I push my CVT hard in the 40-45 mph range when goin frkm 3-4, and sometimes hard pull on 2-3, or high rpm’s. Not as aggressive as this though
Sell it and get a manual. Automatics are harder to tune and most don’t like adding power. It’s not like a manual where when you increase power you can upgrade the clutch. Your going to blow that car apart if you decide to tune it.

Awesome! We did double check the bolts off camera because there was a slight leak but did that off camera. We appreciate the insight!
Should they be torqued to a certain ft lbs? Or just right? Thanks!
Hello guys! Looking forward to your channel!
Thanks Dennis! Loving the new color on your STI ;)
@wrxdaily thank you! And yeah loving it 👌
Nice job!! Do you have other videos planned? I have an 18 STI and looking forward to various model videos! Thanks
We've got a huge series coming for our 2021 STI!

Wd40 is a gift to the world. …witness the “removal tool extraordinaire”
😂
@EdwardSteadfast it really is the best! Spray that on everything man 😂
Agreed! Exhaust removal tool will ALWAYS be your friend. It's vital with a catback exhaust install.
beautiful 🔥
Thanks!
god dam those pops!!
Popcorn!
Is there a reason you chose single wall over double wall? And is you 23’ still stock? Lots of pops 👀 if it is

How do you get the pops I have the same axle back but no pops
These pops were right at redline shifting from second to third. It's all about the upshifts to get the pops

was the gasket you used from your car originally? Or did you purchase separately?
The Remark Axleback comes with gaskets and hardware!
Can I use the stock hardware the car came with to instal ???
As long as the hardware is in good condition, that would not be a problem.

I don't remember haha, typically Subaru has not had many gaskets in the past, but it looks like they might be changing that up with newer vehicles.
Where did you buy it?
Here's a link to purchase! wrxdaily.com/products/remark-4-burnt-stainless-single-wall-axle-back-2022-wrx?_pos=10&_sid=e6d28f9d3&_ss=r
hey man I’m interested in this exhaust for my 22 Wrx but I own the gt which is automatic. Would u still get those pops and bangs?
No!
Unfortunately they would not have the pops and bangs like our shop car (manual transmission).

wowwwwww
How to in stall.. remove four bolts… difficult level1 😂❤
Hahaha, it was a breeze. DIY Level 1/10
If the car wasn't brand new and the bolts were rusted it would maybe be a 3/10
Cracks a lot to be stock…..
Check your facts bud anyone with a wrx knows they backfire stock with a simple axle back.. so relax mr 02 civic
@@jsijjsi4924 cool 👍
We said the same! FA engines like to backfire a lot, even with the factory tune.
Peo0ple probably think you're doing a drive-by
