Or his reaction to the note from the future. "Sir, wasn't that planet on our upcoming mission list?" "Not anymore it's not, I'm not taking any chances."
Must be annoying to work at NORAD and get a classified "Code 5" and getting stuck within the NORAD complex. (NORAD is situated above the Stargate command complex but utilize the same big double blast doors for entry)
Code blue is US emergency services code for any medical situation requiring advanced life support. Most commonly reanimation, sometimes indeed because of a heart attack.
I'm kinda missing the self destruct alarm from S5 E19 where Carter and Hammond activate the self destruct. Okay, its basicly the Code 3 Panic Button alert only a bit slower but its still its own alert.
Ok, you just made me watch the bug episode. God, I love Stargate. Only show I have watched multiple times and can just randomply pick up an episode and enjoy.
Any other sci fi show when someone claims they see something no one else can, you get the usual runaround in Act 1, "are you sure you saw something? Are you feeling ok?". In Stargate, Gen Hammond immediately takes it seriously and orders a lockdown.
I love how SG1 Characters arent dumbasses. Everyone knows better than to dismiss wierd stuff and they are all attentiv always. It also ads to the realism that this is something build up over seasons. Where in the beginning "I saw something no one else here saw" would have ended in that person getting to the infirmary at best, in the later seasons everyone is immediatly on alarm because they have seen to much to be stupid. This show is so amazing
5:42 oh man, this is cool - while speaking, o'neill passes the gun to carter for her to cock it, because one of his arms is out of commission. carter instantly does it, and hands it back. iron man takes point left-handed. damn cool!
I pointed that out when I watched it a few days ago with my mum, it’s pretty funny how he just picks it up hands it to her and she does it and gives it back
@@williambrown2830That's not what Alpha Site is for, so they would want a second site for quarantining objects of interest while they figure out if they are safe to send home.
7:15 every single time someone says this in star trek or anywhere like this, it feels like theyre actually saying " i have no idea how to deal with that" instead of sounding cool
Hammond knows better than to assume someone is just seeing things. He's seen too much!
abd that's definitely a leader!

He started becoming that wise when he trusted his future self in that one time travel episode.

Dr. Jackson hiding in the storage room is standard operational procedure for a Code-9 situation
Storage room was the safest place out of the hallway.
He’s too valuable to lose
Improvise, Adapt and if all else fails Hide in the broom cupboard. NOTE: It worked. 🤣🤣🤣
Love Gen Hammond's awesome command presence. Along with Dr. Weir of Atlantis, Hammond was the best
The actor playing him used to work at the Pentagon, and he just tried to act like the generals who were his co-workers. Really well done.
Can you do one of every time Hammond flexes that he knows the president or uses the red phone to call the president?
You don't like it? Go call the president and whine to him.
Oh? Whats that? You dont have his number? WELL I DO BITCH.
- General! I think it's time for you to press 1 on your quickdial
- my grandkids?
5:20 "Dr. Jackson hides in storage room." Lol
If it was on Atlantis, Dr. McKay would be hiding in the storage room. 😂
To be fair, he was hiding Tononae
Instant correct tactical reaction. Boy be learnin'

Especially if you don’t have full clereance so you have no idea why they lock you in your office three times a month 😂😂
Only the skeleton crew. The bulk of the day-to-day operations of NORAD had been moved out of the mountain, post-Cold War.

Love this, the one thing that is missing is the code blue alarm from season 1
Isn't code blue generic medical language for a heartattack?

Thanks for this. Can you do one on the history of the gate room security? Like when security force added the 50cal and 20mm to the gate room and why.
One thing Stargate does well is make their people look competent. They do a better job than star trek imo.

Yeah.
I wonder what the other codes are. Code-1, Code-2, Code-4, etc. The ones we haven't seen.
Don't forget "(Unscheduled) Off-World Activation."

What about the “wildfire” lockdown?
Nice work. 👍
How do you know so much about these things
Is the Evac self destruct a nuke? Had they established what happens when you nuke a stargate yet?
Yes, gate is a supernuke when a nuke goes off near it or overcharged.

Which base alert causes Hammond to dial 1 on the old telephone.
