Good review, I’m out of Atlanta, GA finishing Roadmaster driving school. May Trucking contacted me and I look forward to working with them I totally understand entry level pay, experience is key.
Dude you're legit. Love the honest words. I'm scheduled for sage trucking Jan 6th. Hopefully get into May around Feb. I chose them because they have a yard in Payette idaho, 5 mins away from me lol.
@@MrAlabama24 they got the basics. the rumble strips that come over your speakers when you go over a line. The beeping if you have a turn signal on and someone is in your blind spot, and the adaptive cruise control
@@MrAlabama24 for the first 2 months (doing the 48 states), 59, 61 on cruise. After 2 months 62, and 65 on cruise. If you're doing the western 11(or 12, whatever the western ones are), it's always going to be 59, and 61 on cruise
@MrAlabama24 true. But it's not all bad. It gives people a chance to get more comfortable with the truck. And they're really big on safety here. So it makes sense
Im out of florida, I know they don't pay well, but everything else ive read and heard makes it worth getting my 6 months experience and moving forward. I'll have no liabilites or bills so I'm pretty excited to see the 48 and just get paid what I can at first
@@fastlifeadam yea that's a good way to look at it. Everything else about May is good, just the pay could be a little better. And honestly, compared to other companies the pay is great 😆

That beginning OTR is experience pay. Worth its weight in gold. At least that's how I looked at it at Prime.
And that's the best mindset to have!
Do their trucks have all those annoying safety features that beep and buzz at you with every little imperfection?

@@fastlifeadam I would think so, but I'm not 100% sure.
