I’m slowly learning that more power=more problems. It’s not easy finding the perfect balance of the two. That’s what keeps things interesting!😂 hopefully it’s an inexpensive fix for ya! Sweet rig for sure. Have an awesome week! 👍👍😁😎✌️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️💥💥💥
Ya !!! I can't believe that I haven't blown any gears at all yet ! Just drove mine yesterday , I need more traction , that 50 just spins the Taylor wheels like crazy , going to spike tires , cool info on the gears ! 💪👍💪👍
Yeah brotha! These 50 GT engines are Horse Monster Beasts!!!😱🏆🏆⚡️⚡️🤯 I have the BRP super spikes as well and the tourque is so insane with those mounted that the truck literally flips itself over
I have a OBR full mod that I'd like to run next to one of those Taylor RC engines because that thing looks like it has gobs of torque. What fuel do you run in it? Pump or race?
Great news for me to. My local hobby shop won’t deal in 30 degree north or even Rovan Trying to build my buggy is something funny hard why. No excuse I can fathom other than what the hobby guy says. He just don’t trust those brands. And why I don’t get it 🤔 You show us the real truth thanks brother. That’s why I have a 30 North buggy. ❤️👊😎
Newbie here.. it's crazy how this thing cost thousands and it doesn't have an electric start. Is there an option to install one or have any that are included?
Am looking at getting a rovan xlt I would love to put a Taylor 46gt in it like your darth rovan but it's a bit pricey what do you think about putting a hobbywing max 4 combo in a xlt and running 12s?
So annoying the "finding time" there are always birtdays, work (ofcourse) and other things. Sometimes i think its best to wrench in the night when theres no one to disturb me! ;)
I’m not using diff oil. I am using silicone earplugs to keep my tires from ballooning. The diffs are not locked either, they still have good play on them. This engine just has tons and tons of power man🏆⚡️⚡️
Baaddaasss 💪👊 sorry about the diff, not much you can do unless theres room for Shimming and play with the fluid weights . Look forward to seeing Superman ripping again soon
Damn man, sorry the diff went so early in the session. That’s a real bummer. She was screaming for sure! From all the videos I’ve seen and research I’ve done on big bores when you get up to a 50cc or bigger the only platform that holds the power reliably with no problems seems to be a hpi baja or 5t/Baja hybrid with fully upgraded tranny and diff gears. Could that be the next build on the channel? 🤯
Yeah man this 5T is decked out with every after market upgrade you can buy and it is still struggling with the power 😱🏆🏆⚡️⚡️ That 50 GT is a straight Horse man! What a beast!!🏆⚡️⚡️⚡️🏆 I would love to do a proper hybrid build one day!🏆🏆🏆
Problem is the clutch design. We really need a bigger clutch that would allow fine tuned throttle control. Even some of the biggest clutches with the highest springs don't allow much throttle control.
I'm looking forward to seeing it running again. What a beast Thunder ⛈️
Thank you so much brother!🏆⚡️⚡️⚡️
Awesome! Love the Taylor 50GT engine Losi 5T comb!
I feel with ya, Frobro. Superman is tha king. You just have to see and hear it in person to fully appreciate it.
Yes it is such a beast my bro! Video does not do it justice at all 😂😂⚡️⚡️🏆
Just bought the 50gt doing my 2nd baja taylor build

Haha yeah man and this is the most powerful truck I have ever seen! Even has more torque than my 12s Kraken Vekta 🤯🤯
Its easy but expensive, all taylor diff and gears.. this how we get to a 7000$ rc cars...😂
That's an absurd size. This car body is designed for engines up to around 32cc.

@@thunderrc 😂😵💫😂😵💫💪👍
Love love the exact look of this thing, is there a electric 1/10 version of this anywhere?
Wow superman 🦸♂️ was really flying 🏆
I wished theyd make a 2spd trans for the 5t
I seen one of those on a 5T you got to look it up on TH-cam it's a video on it
What tyre size are you using? The ground clearance is pretty good.
Do they make upgraded drivetrain components for motors that large that fit the Losi 5T?
@@joslinnick Yes they do. Check out Taylor RC
It's a beast buddy
Yes it truly is my friend! Thank you so much 🏆⚡️⚡️
That thing sounds like my kx125
It is beastly!🏆⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Dam sounds mean brother
Maybe you can try shiming the diff a little bit tighter and try that 😮👍😊
Let’s see that 50gt in the hybrid
Awesome beast the LOSI 5T is a hell of a truck ENJOY IT ....💪💪💪💪💪

the madmax rc truck so cool
What tires are you running on there?
Proline badlands MX57
Animal! Can you pull wheelies with that engine? Sounds tough
bummer ... would be cool if Losi offered this model as a do-it-yourself build.
Agreed

Don't buy that crap

@@thunderrc try 1m diif oil thats what Mike recommends
What gears are you running?
29/48 👍
Is your car 4 wheel drive?
Yes it is

Thank you brother! Superman has some serious power!🏆⚡️⚡️🔥

Wow, that gear was gone!!
Haha Taylor power!😱😂💪⚡️⚡️⚡️
Upgrade engine, must uograde all drive shaft and diff
Shame about the diff but man that is an absolute animal! 🤘💪😁
Thank you brother!🏆⚡️⚡️🚀
I have a 30 degree north with a 29cc. Im thinking of putting the big bore 46cc. Good idea or not lol?
Shit thats powerfull
Yes it’s a monster!!🔥🔥🔥
$2000.00 motor? lol plus the truck cost? This hobby rocks if the wallet can hold up.
Jump it
Running dry doesn’t help.
What do you mean by dry?
Like absolute lack of any lubricants. .
RC car pilots only know 0% or 100% throttle.
Problem is the clutch design. We really need a bigger clutch that would allow fine tuned throttle control. Even some of the biggest clutches with the highest springs don't allow much throttle control.
It's not an airplane
Still sooooo slow compared to a proper brushless conversion. Sounds good though.
why do I get a sudden urge to fire up my chainsaw?
