I just love The Clones Theme. It's such a perfectly melancholic yet epic piece of music, simple yet iconic. In this piano cover I mashed things up once again with dashes of Ahsoka's Theme and some elements from Anakin's Dark Deeds and Anakin's Betrayal. Anyway, time to watch The Clone Wars again. This is the way.

@@biblicalbasher7908 so was Rex. Cody was a good clone, but he wasn’t a free thinker. He was loyal to the Chancellor and the Republic, and when his brain was forced to make that decision during order 66 he didn’t hesitate. He was friends with Obi-Wan, and he had a good proffesional relationship, but he didn’t love the Jedi he served with like Rex did.

It wasn't the end, it was the climax, the sole purpose of the clone wars. It ended when the droids were deactivated, before Lord Vader went to Mustafar.

Not gonna lie, I got emotional listening to this. As you did a great job driving home the tragedy of the clones. On how they were brave, dutiful men bred for war, who fought to uphold and preserve the republic. But also fought to find their individuality; to distinguish themselves amongst the legions of their identical blood brothers. Yet, in the end, they were nothing more than sleeper soldiers; unwitting pawns in the sith's dark game. And the Jedi order payed the price for it.
And yet, after everything they did; dying by the millions to bring about galactic "peace, unity" and "stability", they were cast aside like outdated pieces of hardware. And due to their enhanced aging, the surviving clones would go on to live short miserable lives without purpose, free will or identity. And the vast majority would die that way; betrayed, abandoned and forgotten.
Which is why in my opinion, the story of the clones is even more tragic than the story of Vader.

The saddest part about them is that after all the individuality they developed, the bonds with their jedi generals, were all whipped away similar to how you whippe a droid's memory. This is the final message of the clone wars is that at the end of the day, the 2 armys droids and clones are just mindlessly destroying each other for a pointless war that in the end none will get to enjoy the end of.

Captain Cassian Andor was just like anyone else in the Rebel Alliance. He wasn’t a Jedi, He wasn’t some flying ace. He was just a captain of a U wing, accompanied by none other than his droid. That’s all he had. In the end, he died fighting for what he loved, alongside all his friends, just so he could get those plans to Leia.
Now they’re making a show about him.

Honestly I actually cried three times to this I grew up watching Star Wars with my grandad and the last time we watched Star Wars, was when the clone wars movie came out. Then he passed away and ever since I’ve never stopped watching Star Wars because I love it but not only that it brings back good memories and I honestly just wanna say thank you.

Clone wars came out 13 years ago when I was three and I grew up with it, now because I grew up with clone wars, listening to this song brings back so manny memories about clone wars and Star Wars as a whole, this might sound cheese but I started to tier up beer the end of this song just because of how beautifully it was played... thank you...

This piece moved me to tears. So haunting and beautifully written and performed.
We have to realize how even though clones were made to follow orders and be the best soldier they could, they developed friendships along the way not only with their fellow soldiers, but with many more around them and that holds them dear to many and they went through so much that we need to stop and think about 😔

Just finished watching Clone wars a few hours ago. How wonderful it was! I froze with excitement, watching the last episode though I knew the ending. The whole 7th season was great. It gave me so much joy and food for thoughts! And then I saw your cover on YT. Thanks a lot, you did great!

In my opinion, the clones have one of if not the most tragic, beautiful, horrible, sad story in all of Star Wars. I almost teared up, as me personally, I am a huge fan of the clones. Truly beautiful.

Prauf... such a wasteful and unnecessary death JUST to draw Cal Cestus out. They didn't even kill Cal... they just carelessly threw him off a cliff and thought he would die. I was hoping Prauf would come with Cal and give him advice, but it was not to be... Rest in peace, Prauf, you and your sacrifice will not be forgotten.

I remember when 2-3 week's after the Clone Wars series ended, I decided to write a fan-fiction regarding on Ahsoka and Rex. And it takes place around sometime after order 66, when Rex had a nightmare of reliving watching Fives die in his arms.
Then in his other dream, when he relived O66 as he tries to resist the order to kill a Jedi, particularly Ahsoka, who just looked up to him as a close friend. He got so devastated about reliving that moment, that he screamed out for Fives and woke feeling terrified of what he have almost did.
When Ahsoka woke up and heard Rex's screams, she rushed out of bed, and quickly came to his bedside to check on him. While Ahsoka comforted him upon his bedside holding on to his hand, Rex told her everything about what he just had nightmares of. Rex looked terribly distraught at himself for nearly killing his Jedi friend, that he looked away with tears filled in his eyes as he felt guilty for almost following the order to kill her. As Ahsoka came to sympathize with her clone friend upon his bed, Rex started to cry and hold her very tightly in his arms, desperate to protect his best friend.
While she gently stroke his back to calm him down, Rex apologized to Ahsoka and she consoles him. She tells him that everyone has their own nightmares too, also telling him that everything will be alright.
Eventually, out of pity Ahsoka uses a handkerchief to wipe away tears from the right side of Rex's face, and out of love she kissed him on the cheek, were all tears were swept off. It is then that Rex became appreciative for his closest friend's affection for him and Ahsoka forgave him. However, as she began to weep for the nightmare that she too was having, Rex offered Ahsoka to sleep in the same bed as he's in hoping that she can rest better right beside him.

Thus, Rex got off of bed to get the fire started and warm the entire room up. While he's tending the fire, Ahsoka got into the right side of the bed, feeling warm. Although, she was grateful for her bestfriend to let her stay for the night, she still felt sad about her nightmare that she had that was slightly disturbing.
Then just as Rex is about to head back to bed getting really tired, he saw his close Jedi friend in bed on the right side. He looked upon her laying in bed with a pitiful smile on his face and then Rex joined Ahsoka in bed. As he faced away from his dear friend to give her some space to rest, the young former padawan look behind the trooper, and thanked him for letting her stay with him. And then Rex yawned to Ahsoka from behind telling her that she's welcome.
Thus, while the two lay next to each other laying back to back in a king sized bed, Ahsoka opens up to Rex about her having a nightmare of Anakin getting turned to the dark side. And also tells him about how she practically watched her own master perish right at front of her, as he slowly gets dragged away from the darkness and driving him into madness. Ahsoka cried as Rex turn around and comfort her, by wrapping his arms around her in bed. The two mourned for Anakin, as they believed that he's longer with them.
