ME listening to this on repeat as i try to cope with the pain by writing... i'm in tears. it hurt so much. the end of an era... the fall of the Republic... Vader picking up Ahsoka's saber... Ahsoka trying *so hard* to save them all but not being able to, in the end. i'm incredibly emotional. the music was incredible and the last two scenes broke my heart and showed so clearly that Palpatine committed more than one genocide when he wiped out the Jedi: he wiped out the clones, too. so much death. but in that death, life - Morai flying out of the ruins, because even as everything is lost, hope still lives on.
I'm listening to this while crying. I can't comprehend it's over. I just can't. All the memories of the clones, the brothers, they remain in my heart forever. I just can't believe it, I don't want to believe it's over yet. Fuck man..this is tough. I'm as sad as I was when I lost someone...these clones...even if they were in a show...they felt real. I had a connection, we all did. No...Star wars is real. Those Clone troopers...they will always be real to me.
When I watched that episode I remembered how plo ended up getting shot down. Not gonna lie my eyes watered a little especially knowing what his ultimate fate is
Stewart Moran No Vader snapper his neck first. I don’t hate Fox, his loyalty to Palpatine was flawed like the rest of them, he was just following orders.
Stewart Moran We see him throughout the show having to go off and protect the chancellor and he also busts in himself to stop Ziro and that time he broke through Palpatine’s office to keep him safe. The battle of Coruscant definitely saw those clones in combat, that’s for sure, and he was a commander. You don’t become one just by sitting around all day. He and Rex got the same training, and were likely partners in a group when they were on Kamino. As for the Cleaner Droids, no one knew, they were cleaner droids and even we the fans have never seen such a thing like that before, so that’s not fair to put all on Fox, there wasn’t any hint of danger.
Mate, fucking Rex's reactions in this episode are perfect. The shock, the confusion, the fear, the realisation. He's reactions are so vivid and realistic, he's actually having an internal breakdown because of this madness going on around him but has to soldier through it. Can't lie, I rarely if ever cry about works of fiction, but just the fact THIS is Order 66 and THIS is Rex in it, a character who I'm attached to ever since watching the movie as a kid, it almost got me.
Broken they shouldn't be able to create something so good it's no possible that ending was so perfectly done to finish the best episode of the series i'm here to cope
Words cannot describe my amazement. This must be the best episode of all time. The only tiny thing that bothered me was that Rex did not really flinch after killing his brothers...

Stop with that. Everything is different.. the characters, the situation, the context.. just stop being hater of disney trilogy, it isn't perfect at all.. but at least it bring something new about the univers, about the force, for example the prelogy bring nothing.. (even if i love SW1/2/3) Just to say, every trilogy have qualities and problems.
@@toonbou7254 i'd heavily argue there and say that the prequels brought alot more to the table, the jedi order, the republic, the clones, order 66, a much wider universe, and yes it did bring shit like jar jar and god forbid midichlorians but it brought a hell of alot of shit to the table, and the clonewars just took that and made it so much better
Come on, just be serious, The Clone Wars is by far the best product in the Star Wars Universe, and the last ark is by far the best thing in the series. There is nothing anywhere, counting the 11 movies of the saga, that comes even close to the awesomeness of these four chapters. It has anything to do with Ep.IX, nor the last trilogy. The siege of Mandalore and the Order 66 has been just that good, and they admit no comparision with anything within this universe.
Captain Rex : Something on your mind ? Ahsoka :As a Jedi we were trained to be keepers of the Peace not soldiers but all I've been since I was a Padawan is a soldier Captain Rex :I've known no other way gives us clones all a mixed feeling about the war many people wish it never happened but without it we clones wouldn't exist Ahsoka : Well then perhaps some good has come from all of it the Republic couldn't have asked for better soldiers nor I a better friend
That is on of deepest scenes ever in Star Wars. In those last few episodes had some of the best dialogue ever in Star Wars history. Those last 4 episodes are the saddest ever.
"You are making a mistake by crossing me clone" - Krell "It's Captain, sir" - Rex *later* "General Krell, you're being relieved of duty" - Rex "It's treason then" - Krell The Umbara arc is one of the best pieces of star wars ever
"I've known no other way, gives us clones all a mixed feeling about the war. Many people wish it never happened, but without it, we clones wouldn't exist."
Love the image. Rex and Wolf looking at the helmet of a clone who executed order 66. Wolf stands next to Rex as his brother in arms. They also look at the marking of Ashoka not knowing if she is alive.
"For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. Before the dark times, before the Empire."
Sidious: ....Execute Order 66 Rex: Yes, lord Sidious. Ahsoka: Rex, it’s Anakin. I feel something terrible has happened. **Rex would drop his helmet with radio still on, other 2 trooper’s turn around and aim Ahsoka** Rex: No! I will do it. Ahsoka: Rex?! What’s happening? Rex: Stay back! **Ahsoka would look him** Rex: Find him, find him ( **hand shaking** ) Fives! FIND HIM! ( There will be more if you guy want me make it )
From 2:35 onwards, I can just imagine: During order 66, Ahsoka sees Rex and hesitates. "It's me Rex" he says and it turns out that he understood what Fives was trying to tell him after all. Then Rex tells Ahsoka to run and that he'll hold them off. Ahsoka gets in a nearby ship and prepares to take off as Rex looks back one last time and the ship and says "live to fight another day, commander." 3:04 "Trator!" yells a 501st clone in the background as the doors open up and clones start to enter, Rex knows what he has to do. He shoots one down, then another. Every clone he takes out hurts him more and more as he remembers past memories of himself fighting side by side with them. The camera view pans through his helmet as a single tear falls out of his eye and roles down his cheek. He continues to kill his brothers until finally, there are no more left standing in the room. He falls to his knees in despair of what has happened and what he has done. But he must get out of there fast, before the same happens to him.

There would be no other Star Wars series as Good as Clone Wars and I will always remember that series the rest of my life .
@@rejvaik00 sorry, but 2003 clone wars isnt very good. its 2 or so hours long, its 2d which some may like but i personally dont, and its just mindless action. theres no character development, theres actually really limited dialogue, in part 1 especially, and unlike 2008 clone wars it adds nothing to the story, like the way 2008 TCW makes anakins turn much more believable.

“I thought being a good soldier meant doing everything they told you... that’s how they engineered us. But we’re not droids, you have to learn to make your own decisions.”
i think this is what we have been dreading since the moment this series was announced and began airing. some fans itd end right when ROTS begins but even so, it would mean all the emotion built up for the clones and the jedi that are with them, would only hit all the harder once the shit does go down. and as of the latest episode, shit is officially going down
Imo the greatest work in the franchise. It adds so incredibly much to the best movie too. RotS was already a bold and great movie ending in tragedy, but with all the depth and emotion added from CW, it just hit so much harder. The only shame I see is that the last season of CW became a parallel story to RotS, something that had to be done given that the movie was already made one and a half decade earlier.
I just watched the clone wars series for the first time over the past couple of weeks. The way this show gave the clones their own personalities was a game changer from how they are portrayed in the movies and that just made the last few episodes of season 7 hit even harder. Who knew what is basically a cartoon could drive so much captivating emotion. I'm just glad they did it justice and finished it properly after it being originally cancelled.

Anakin's Dark Deeds... Anakin's Betrayal... Jedi Temple March... And the clones' theme. I didn't think these four could come together like this. But you made it happen. Thank you. "It will be done, my lord..."
This brings memories back to the entire clone wars series and the fun I had playing the LEGO clone wars. Well done Kim. This was a very emotional song and very interesting. May the force be with us all. Palpatine - Exacute Order 66. Clone who didn’t want to but had to - it’ll be done my lord. Kind of funny how palpatine killed almost the entire Jedi order in 3 words.
Bro I’ve haven’t been hit with such emotions like that in a while. Hearing the original clone theme that made me happy so many times before now make me sad af too.
The very last episode of The Clone Wars was far more emotional and impactful than RotS ever could have been. 7 seasons getting to know these characters - all the clones and their personalities and wants - really fleshed out the story and world better than anything else in this universe.
Order 66: In the event of Jedi officers acting against the interests of the Republic, and after receiving specific orders verified as coming directly from the Supreme Commander (Chancellor), GAR commanders will remove those officers by lethal force, and command of the GAR will revert to the Supreme Commander (Chancellor) until a new command structure is established.
“This is wrong! And we all know it! No clone should have to go out this way! We are loyal soldiers. We follow orders, but we are not a bunch of unthinking droids! We are MEN! We must be trusted to make the right decisions, especially when the orders we are given are wrong!”
The most heartbreaking thing about this song, is reading the comments and understanding every quote every quip and every good word said not by clones, but by men. Then knowing that all that good they did, all that sacrifice, will all be so that an Empire, not a Republic, will rise. I was loyal to the Republic, not their Empire.
To Hevy, Waxer, Hardcase, 99, Bond, Vaughn, Keeli, Fives, Jesse, and every fallen trooper, either fallen to order 66 or fallen down. They all deserve to be remembered. They succeeded when others could not. They fought as loyal soldiers even though enslaved.

Stop with that. Everything is different.. the characters, the situation, the context.. just stop being hater of disney trilogy, it isn't perfect at all.. but at least it bring something new about the univers, about the force, for example the prelogy bring nothing.. (even if i love SW1/2/3)
Just to say, every trilogy have qualities and problems.

Rex: No! I will do it.
Ahsoka: Rex?! What’s happening?
Rex: Stay back!
**Ahsoka would look him**
Rex: Find him, find him ( **hand shaking** ) Fives! FIND HIM!
( There will be more if you guy want me make it )
From 2:35 onwards, I can just imagine:
During order 66, Ahsoka sees Rex and hesitates. "It's me Rex" he says and it turns out that he understood what Fives was trying to tell him after all. Then Rex tells Ahsoka to run and that he'll hold them off. Ahsoka gets in a nearby ship and prepares to take off as Rex looks back one last time and the ship and says "live to fight another day, commander."
3:04
"Trator!" yells a 501st clone in the background as the doors open up and clones start to enter, Rex knows what he has to do.

Omg same :(
The very last episode of The Clone Wars was far more emotional and impactful than RotS ever could have been.
The most heartbreaking thing about this song, is reading the comments and understanding
every quote
every quip
and every good word said not by clones, but by men.
