You don't even have to remove the scale. Just the pivot screw and sleeve. Put the sleeve in on the wrong side first, using a small gunsmith punch to circle the hole and keep stuff centered til it goes through. Push the sleeve through and reinsert on the correct side. No need to oil the washers. Just alcohol wipe everything clean and reassemble. 👌🏼
Everyone thinks they need to disassemble their benchmade out of the box i have multiple axis Lock models and trust me they come stiff but after a few flicks will have a smooth action
