Stocks in the short term look more likely to move downward. I Just inherited $500k which I Look forward to invest. what stocks should I look into as a newbie to safely grow my money?
Investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. I've learned this from my own experience. If you're new to investing or don't have much time, it's best to get advice from an expert.
The issue is people have the "I want to do it myself mentality" but not equipped enough for a crash, hence get burnt. Ideally, advisors are reps for investing jobs, and at first-hand encounter, my portfolio has yielded over 300% since 2020 just after the pandemic to date.
I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value. I would be happy if you could advise me based on how you went about yours, as I am ready to go the passive income path.!!
Svetlana Sarkisian Chowdhury a highly respected figure in her field. I suggest delving deeper into her credentials, as she possesses extensive experience and serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking guidance in navigating the financial market.
I just googled her and I'm really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get. I just scheduled a caII.
Considering rising inflows, higher savings from Retail individuals, Double Income couples , combined with new Investors , SIP inflows , besides ANC's holding large cash available to take positions, don't you think correction if any will be short lived
A prudent investor consistently achieves success.
It is now an opportune moment to average down on stocks experiencing a downtrend.
In the next two to four months, the market is anticipated to recover, making these averaged-down stocks profitable.
The fundamental principle is to remain invested, hold your position, average down during market downturns, and pyramid your investments during uptrends to maximize gains by riding the market wave.
A video tutorial on how to average down and pyramid stocks during downtrends and uptrends would be highly beneficial, especially in the context of weekend investing.
This approach can help investors make informed decisions and optimize their portfolio performance.
Thank you Alok!
Thank you Alok! Slowly the true nature of market is evolving with your presentations. Long-term association with the market is the only way to build wealth - the truth of our time.
My portfolio of 200k is not increasing any more than 5% and we seem to be facing a correction right now. I cant tell where the market is headed, or perhaps I should just sell off and avoid the panic.
i'd advise you redistribute assets in your portfolio with the help of a license professional so you don't get burnt in this volatile market.
That's right, I was doing pretty good not until the rona-outbreak which led to my portfolio crash. I immediately employed the service of an advisor, got overwhelmed by the returns, thus increased my investments and to date, I'm just about 10% shy of a 7 figure portfolio.
@@UncleSoapz congrats! very encouraging for newbies like myself, mind sharing advisor info please? in dire need of proper asset allocation
I've shuffled through a few advisors in the past, but settled with Melissa Elise Robinson. You'd most likely find her basic info on the internet, she's well established with over two decades of experience.
thanks for the lead. I just searched Melissa by her full name and easily spotted her profile, no sweat. I have sent her an email, hoping she gets back to me soon
Thanks.Painstaking collection of data. You have given a clear perspective about the present market.
सुख में invest सब करें, दुःख मे करे कोय! जो दुःख में invest करे, भला उसी का होय 😊
Very much possible sir. FIIs are pulling away huge sums to China hoping for a stimulus soon.
Now question is, how much they will remove and how much DII can fill in? My view DII must calm down and let FII exit. Once the selling stops entirely DII must enter with a bang. But DII are simply giving FII an exit at high. Completely wrong as FIIs have sold nothing so far compared to their total holding of around 1 trillion dollars.
Firstly, thanks for the content. My ask: It would be really helpful if you could make a video on explaining all your product overlaps and what baskets should one pick considering monthly SIP of x amount per month (25k, 50k, 1L, 3L, 5L).
The context being that I am thinking of being invested in long term, even though I go through all the product videos indivisually, I fall in a analysis paralysis of choosing which strategy to invest in, considering eg 3L per month would quickly fill most stategies within few years inviting more churn.
I think you have been dead honest about your products and efforts, there is no better [erson than you explaining the redundencies one can avoid and how to smartly choose your strategies based on our usecases.
I personally can set up a call and talk with your team, but I feel there are a lot of young folks like me that would have this question. Also, many of us who have learnt through online resources like yours, this would be a great help.
When we expect market not fall so don't expect anything just go with the trend it's very simple
Great insight as always! Thanks... one additional data I thought would be interesting.. the average PE at correction start vs correction end.
Alokji, great learning from you. Thank you for your efforts.
So nice of you
Fabulous video. Just puts to rest whatsoever doubts anyone has in their mind. Thank you and keep it coming. We need constant wisdom to keep our emotions at check.
Sir, Whats your view on Nifty 500 Multicap Momentum Quality 50 Index Fund vs Nifty 500 Momentum 50 Index Fund.
Sir what about small and Midcaps? They will fall 30-50% during corrections. This Ananlysis is about sensex which is largecaps. What about small cap index ?
very insightful, thanks
Good analysis of past trends.
Great work Alok Sir, Never seen any one who can point these data points and Analysis like this.
Grateful
❤ awesome byte to watch for approach on market correction
I understand you sir. This correction is not fueled by war sentiment or so as we have realised that any war not involving us is not such a significant risk to us. It all depens on FII selling now. If they continue and the immediate support breaks, ofcourse we'll see the next support but I would be rather surprised if we see more than another 5% fall inspite of all this liquidity and money waiting to enter (in normal circumstances) P.S. Can we have another video on event days market play.
Hi Sir, Thanks for the insights that corrections are normal. It would have been great to show how the weekend strategies have performed over these periods of correction and during the recovery as well.
Have done several episodes in the past. Do look up the performance charts on the website which you can study on a date wise baiss
Please consider PE , PEG , PB and Dividend yield when you analyse the index.
Finally share price is a slave to earnings !!
As usual...A great wisdom from you sir❤
Thank You sir, You are came with superb content again
So nice of you
Much needed content for support during this correction ❤
Yes, 15 % correction is overdue. But time the market is very difficult.
Alokji what if we are chasing 200 in 20 overs but at the end of 10 overs we already scored 150 now our required rate is only 5 runs per over from 10 runs per over should we treat market like a game of cricket
Good analysis sir
Thanks!
is it possible to do monthly SIP in MI20 smallcase ? like investing 5k per month ?
Sir nifty 50 index me gold mix fund please suggest 🙏

Until FII starts buying the market is not going anywhere...DII are buying the correction instead of buying at all time highs. So I suppose until FII change most of the levels will be consolidating. It could be a long wait until it breaches 26k. In this scenario it would better to invest in specific company @ good valuation.
Sir, can recovery be faster in post covid world as many investors started flocking equity market?
Avg of last years for recovery tells recovery is very slow i.e. 178.
Sir I am a COVID market person.everyone is saying that newcomer not know about fall.is it true sir.
Super analysis...

@weekend investing please work on improving your sound quality of videos. The volume is too low
Volume is perfectly fine.
Well, looking forward to the correction!😁
thank you bro
Sir in this current scenario a 10% fall is very good for lump sum investment
Yes a good atart
Very nice info ..thank you
thanks
If govt raise Capital gain tax than investor will become less and tax will be less though the tax rate may be high😊
Thank u sir❤❤
Good morning
Good morning sir
Got it 👍🏻
The crash will 40-50% but it will take 3-4 year's so be ready to test your patience 🔥🔥🔥🔥
even experts cant predict share market and you are not even 1% close to them but everybody can speak stupidity with confidence
I always double my sip every 5% fall
You are averaging down and it can be lethal.
Instead of doubling down SIP, keep SIP constant and make lump sum purchase at set intervals (5%, 10%, 15% corrections)
Sir do you think is it a good time to invest a preety big amount around 2cr into small cap mutual funds now? As the market is at all time high, don't you think it's best to wait for a correction or wait for 1-2 years before deploying?
Really respect you're analysis thaks.
U should also be prepared if the market rallies up again and shouldn’t feel market is expensive than it was before rather invest 25L and wait for a correction if there is going to be any 😊
Last year september I had the same amount to deploy. So I decided to do STP over a 6 month period. You know what I lost? 25 L of extra gains just because I did STP and not lumpsum!
