Im 60 years old so we did all this kinda driving to these cars and more! We could buy these cars cheap back then. And we treated them like 2 dollar hookers! Lol!
@priDEMONth (demon is in PRIDE MONTH) same here. I love your TH-cam name. I was going to sub to you, but I saw that you had exactly 666 subscribers and I just couldn't be the one to wreck it. 👹🤣
@priDEMONth (demon is in PRIDE MONTH) 🤯 OK. There are no coincidences in this life. But since I had to leave TH-cam at the moment yesterday, I am going to have to accept the fact that our conversation has been ended by a power greater than us. I hope that you will keep in touch with me as I would like to explore these NOT "random" events in more detail. ✌️😎👍
If this magnificent 1968 Hurst Olds had 500 ft. Lbs of torque, then she must have had at least 400-HP, most likely more! The U.S. auto manufacturers always downplayed the horsepower so the consumer wouldn't have to pay such high insurance premiums. I was raised in the '60s and I'd buy almost any American-made car from the '60's-'70s and early '80s over any foreign-made job of that era. Modern cars are safe and have more than adequate horsepower, but I could sure do without all the computers and computer screens; I am perfectly able to drive a car without any help. If Detroit rebuilt their '60's and early '70's models in 2020 with 21st-century technology, (less the Snowflake computer crap) I'd buy one in a heartbeat!
@Jeff di Giusto agree with everything you said in this post. I love the power and upgraded brakes, belts and balls, but hate the AI crap and chips that interfere with HUMAN control of the vehicle. Rock on dude! Born Late '58. ✌️😎👍
I loved growing up in the 60's and 70's. These cars were part of the reason. 👍
Gotta say, that guy can drive !

@priDEMONth (demon is in PRIDE MONTH) glad to see that I made you laugh at one of my older jokes. Not many people got it. 🙄 😉

@@MrMenefrego1 BTW the engine was conservatively rated at 390 HP. 🤣 If you believe that, yada yada.
Enjoy the weekend brother!
