Great sounds! But we all must remember that Alpa Junos are not only pad/strinds/brass machines, but also incredibly powerful BASS synths. I was surprised when received my AJuno and got punchy sexy rounded Roland basses!)) 🎉🎉🎉

Aside from the obvious fact I can’t play anywhere near as well as this...my alpha Juno definitely doesn’t sound this good! Can I ask what reverb & chorus you used please?
For the reverb one plugin of studio one 3, but it’s a standard reverb, and for the chorus i’ve founded online (for free) the same chorus of the juno 60 and juno 106. Recently tc electronics have presented the recreation (hardware) of that chorus! Or maybe you can use an external gear like the zoom ms70cdr

I have bought an old boss superchourus I'm waiting to arrive..I have a 106 & have considered getting the mod done to allow external instruments through its chorus, but problem be same cost as the new behringer June chorus pedal? Choices, choices:) Thanks very for the channel I've got some similar gear but your ability in playing inspires me to improve & get more out of my synths...:-)
I love GFI pedals Synaesthesia for chorus, phase, etc. amazing pedal. It has a great model of the Roland dimension chorus. It’s not cheap but it’s beautiful! You can find used GFI reverbs too (Specular Reverb, Specular Tempus) and those sound as good as Strymon, for less money.
Were people cynical about the digital nature of this synth compared to the original Junos when it was released, kind of how some people crave analog and look down on digital today?
When this waa released, people didn’t want it because it wasn’t digital enough! It wasn’t a DX, and you couldn’t make a “slap bass” on it 😂 At that time, people thought analog was bad, people were throwing away analog synths, seriously. I never understood it, even then.

The Alpha Juno 2 also has on-board chorus like the Juno 106. In my experience, it sounds bad when you have two chorus effects going.
