Thanks for clarifying how RB handles the 3 vs 4 stems situation. You're the only previewer that included this tidbit. Too bad RB has only 3 stems and the FLX10 also has only hardware 3 buttons so I as an owner of that controller can't hope they change their mind about it without having to work around it. That automation feature is really cool! Nice!
Please Brother, in easy words… can you tell me how much difference makes having “built in” effects or software effects… i understand how they work but the question is… is it really relevant???
This is an amazing. I do have a question, how many of the new features transfer over to Rekordbox - does Piano Mode and the auto transition work or is that just a Serato feature?
Not sure what you mean by flx6 jog wheel. Let’s break this down. FLX6 jog wheel is touch capacitive which requires electrostatic from your fingers to active the vinyl-like control. The DDJ-REV5 is pressure sensitive, where pushing on the jog top is like button to engage. This is more like the full size CDJ jog. The sides of the FLX6 have a pattern that departs from the CDJ-style jog of the DDJ-1000. It’s mirrored in the FLX10. The REV5 has a jog siding that is unique to the REV5. It’s similar to the circular CDJ style but not identical. The jog display is probably the closest similarity to the FLX6, using an LED indicator, similar to the evolution of full jog CDJs from CDJ-1000 to CDJ-2000NXS2. Unlike the LCD display jogs, the LED have way less latency and help prevent “rubber banding”; the act of moving it so fast it’s having a hard time catching up. For a battle style controller, this may be important for juggling and scratching. Because it’s not a motorized jog like the REV7, you don’t have the option of putting a sticker on it. Therefore, performance is prioritized over aesthetic. Not to mention, it’s less bandwidth intensive on the usb connectivity.
@priyonjoni when using software only effects like on here what position do you have the pot for an echo effect, in order to echo out? In this video it looked at out 11 o'clock but I feel that might be cos it's just a demo. I'm just curious, thankyou.
Hi Joni I like your style of Djing can you give me a clue and how you get so good Please? I am 67 yrs old and into music My EQ is very high end EQ I have But I bought a Flex 4 , 16 Macbook Pro head Phone and XP2 and Head phone not sure about speakers but looking at presonus E8 due to AB Quality. Any advive is welcom Thanks. and would you advice to go to a Flex 10 from here ?
Why Piano? Because most people, even ones who have never taken piano lessons, understands the basics of how to use a piano. Not is not the case with a sequencer.

If you're the person who pioneer consults with when making DJ gear, you are such a blessing
So many creative ideas that you bring to the gear!

How would you replace x fader
I might splurge for Christmas and go for either a DDJ REV 5, FLX 10 or the RANE 4. Tough choice except price for the latter. Please help
I wonder where are the beatjump controls?
What is the sound quality of REV5 - same as in REV 7?
Me recomiendas rev5 soy principiante avanzado o rev7 o Flx 10
The mixer section and the top looks good. But i don’t understand why they put these flx 6 jogs.

Rev5 or Flx10 for Weddings?
What about mic future ? Does it has effect?
Dope. I want to try it today.

Depending how loud I want the echo, I tend to hang out between 9 and 12.
@@priyonjoni thankyou 👊
This is very affordable for what you get. Only thing is the limited on effects.
thank you

Why piano…. Should be a beat sequencer.
Needs to be integrated with DDJ RMX.
Virtual Dj already has Stem EQ…. It’s been a long while.

How is Jesus Christ glorified with all this idolatry praying the devils music?
lol what?
