I grew up I Leakey! I used to swim in the Frio everyday. Back in the 90s, there was no one there 90% percent of the time. It was nice and quiet. I miss it every day
Hi! Its called Happy Hollow Frio River Outfitters. The downside is that you need to either be a hotel guest to access that spot or you have to drift down the river to access it. They have some people guarding access to walk down from the parking lot checking if you are a guest. The river drift is about 2 hours and that spot is where you take out and it happens to be the only spot where you can cliff jump like that.
@@davegarc72 Why is it so hard to access so many rivers in Texas? I was near Gruene before on some road and couldn't park or access it anywhere. Evth was just private even though it's a public river.
