Honestly, this is the first time I shed my tears in bed while watching anime. It's just really hard not to cry for a man who faced many hardships in life. A person who is alone since the start of the series with no friends. I felt very sad in this because I saw the hardships that naruto overcame. He lost his parents, some of his friends, and especially his ero sennin. A man who can hide his sorrow in front of everybody. 7th hokage Uzumaki Naruto.

Naruto is wisdom. A series of life lessons. It all started 16 years ago. I was in 4th grade. Was bullied by my friends cause of my appearance. Was called by different names. Never wanted to go to school as I was always left alone. No one wanted to be my friend. There were days where I just cried continuously. I was surrounded with hatred, loneliness, pain, bullying and many more. My parents love was the only exception. Then one fine day, I came across this beautiful anime. Back then, it was only one episode per day in CN. Naruto became my source of happiness. Something I looked forward to. Everyday those 24 minutes healed what I faced for 24 hours. Every episode taught me something. To be honest, I was a loser. But this amazing anime made me believe that its possible to get back up when you fall. Naruto's ninja way became my way of life. I wanted to change. I wanted to become better. And guess what? I failed. Failed for 100's of times. But this anime helped me to fight again. I studied hard and became the topper of my school. Then I learned piano, became an artist, did my graduation and was a gold medalist. Now I'm doing my masters from one of the best Universities. I am a Softskills trainer by profession and have been helping hundreds of students to reach their ultimate potential. The first suggestion I ever give to my students is to watch Naruto. Minato understands how difficult it is for Naruto to say goodbye to him, he understands that it is difficult for Naruto to lose his father with whom he was recently reunited. Here you can see that Minato is listening very carefully, because he understands that Naruto is difficult to talk about all this, he realizes that Naruto can do not speak out now and in the end will regret about the unsaid all his life. Therefore, as a caring father, he does not interrupt Naruto's speech. Very touching! I think any caring father would do exactly the same as Minato!
You're right to a degree, ofc, but I also think it has a lot to do with how Minato was as a person. He is the quiet one. Remember how he an Kushina died. Kushina rambled on and then Minato just said something like "dito". I don't think he is especially talkative. Even back when he fell in love with Kushina he was very quiet and reserved, a shy person, not flashy or forceful. That's why they made a good couple cause they complemented each other and had a balanced mix of them both in Naruto, the Orange Hokage.
This scene was well made by Kishimoto and I mean it cause he brought all the previous kages there to witness what the strongest shinobi was like and how painful his life was
