The Jyu-Sokosha was designed as a tank, but officially called "armored car". It was used by the cavalry arm of the IJA, and military politics dictated that "tanks" could only be operated by the infantry.
The Japanese Type 91 So Mo of the 30s is a railways and road veichle, on the side we see alternate the railways wheels or the road wheels if the vehicle goes on the railways tracks or on the road...
I imagine you could do a chronological array of “Gundam” units, featuring only the title Gundam from each series. Or at least the Mecha from each that had two eyes. That was usually the defining feature.
01:48 The Frenchie trooper has a 1st WW horizon-blue uniform? Only some fortress garrisons and, maybe, some of the oldest reservists would have had that. Others would have had khaki green.
To name the Bucketcar (Kübelwagen) an armored car.... strange... it was similar to the Jeep.... very much unarmored! And I'm not sure about the years.... and how is 1915 fitting into WW2 ?
You didn't include the Toyota Hilux ''Technical'' as used in Africa and the Middle East. Although ''technically'' it's Armed but not Armored. Also I would have appreciated the Secondary Armanents being listed.
Unfortunately this video is a waste of time. Kubelwagen was NOT ARMOURED and was NOT ARMED. The pure fiction from the computer games goes into history as a source! It had an extremely weak 23,5 HP engine (compare to 50-60 HP similar cars like Willys or GAZ) and drove of-road with significant difficulties. In practice it could only drive at hard roads, providing they were not muddy and slippery. You should look for reliable and proven information from sources other than the stupid computer games!!! Thumb down and bye.
Kubuś was not a regular armored car, mostly tiznao-like vehicle based on Chevrolet truck with only purpose to support Warsaw's Uprising, so you could make 10 videos at least exclusively about Spanish tiznaos or other handmade armored vehicles
Don't laugh, if you were to build an armored car from stolen scrap and fear that if someone found out, they would shoot you in the head, you wouldn't build anything better...
7:10 this is not funny, try to build something like this yourself under the watchful eye of the Gestapo, although I personally do not support the use of this type of vehicles for guerrilla warfare, I believe that this armored car paradoxically helped the Germans to suppress the uprising, because the steel used for it could be made for example, 500 additional Błyskawica submachine guns, or KiS or Bechowiec submachine guns, but the Warsaw residents were guided by the Uhlans' fantasy and not cold calculation, I doubt whether the Warsaw Uprising would have broken out at all if it weren't for your order, you wanted us to hold the Germans so that the Soviets could enter freely , because, for example, General Kazimierz Sosnkowski, who was distinguished in battle and was against starting an uprising, you deprived him of his military pension and banned him from entering Great Britain, which forced him to go to Canada, where he died in poverty, forgotten.
The Rolls-Royce has James Bond next to it. Nice. And the Italian ones after it have guys with Pizza. That is perfect. 1:16 Is that a GuP reference with Maho wearing the Oarai uniform I see riding on the Type 98 Kokusan? It looks like it is. 3:38 Darjeeling is riding the Daimler Dingo. That is amazing. 4:11 It's the Terminator! 4:46 And we got Rambo too! 5:49 I see that Homer standing behind the Staghound.
>Crazy WW2 Armored Cars
>most vehicles are pretty sane
>features WW1 and Interwar vehicles
They used ww1 and interwar equipment at ww2
@pedroKwiecinski There are armies today still using extremely outdated equipment, doesn't mean you'd label it modern weaponry.
1:00 that's a tankete....
3:53 that's just a car but with a MG
The type 92 was technically classified as an armoured car in the IJA, even though it has tracks
In 3:53 Its Kubelwagen With Machine Gun
@@legendary6123 KÜBELWAGEN

Kids were crazy back then.
Make video about the armored trains
Very nice, thanks for showing! 😊
My pleasure 😊
You forgot the Bren Carrier and SD.Kfz 250 (the most producted german half-track)
Too common to be crayzey
A halftrack isn't an Armored car
And the many armored cars that fought in the Spanish Civil War. Some of them even fought in WWII.
And some were actually crazy designa!
Universal carrier isn’t much of an armored car, more like an armored tractor.
The Japanese Type 91 So Mo of the 30s is a railways and road veichle, on the side we see alternate the railways wheels or the road wheels if the vehicle goes on the railways tracks or on the road...
The first german armoured car was the SdKfz. 231. 6 rad not the 8 rad (3axles and not 4), and by some 4 years!!
Italian AB-41 one of the absolute finest 👌 of WW2. Forza 🇮🇹 Italia!!
1925 car looks like a unit in a RTS of Dune or even Tiberian Sun. Awesome!
Yes, Japan call their tankette as armored car.
3:04 it's not BA-10, it's BA-11
Didn't the BA-10 have a different turret? And only armed with a DT? Or am I thinking of a different armored car?
@@hewhoplugwalks different turret, different shell... Another armored kar.
It will be easier to google it to see the differences.
@@hewhoplugwalksThat's the BA-20 or BA-64.
T55E1 could've been a good addition, its a bunch of wheels with a massive gun
Those cars looks awesome and practical... i wish someone got collection of them(miniature one/toys)
With Working Machine Guns on them !!
No Csaba?
38M Csaba. 🇭🇺
@@baurrobertAnd AB41 mentioned as AC in Hungarian service. Maybe they confused with 38M Csaba AC

That dutch east india car surprised me, looks almost futuristic.
My favourite is spw 222 or spw 233.
The german kubelwagen was not an armored car. It was just a kind of jeep.
Wot? So no Australian Dingo Scout Car?

The last german armored cars look more like russian BTRs, then cars. It's crazy how germans were ahead of its time in the aspect of conceptions.
You forget the belgian Minerva, used against the Germans in 1914.
You didn't include the Toyota Hilux ''Technical'' as used in Africa and the Middle East. Although ''technically'' it's Armed but not Armored.

Yeah, and they didn't even include actuall produced armored cars used by Poland like wz. 34 Armored Car for some reason.
Great info thanks

for lancia 1z you say most common early italian armored cars (produced only 10 pieces), but then you have fiat with 14 pieces? wtf

Armored cars get a lot of hate because of their vulnerabilities to anti armor especially tanks buts they can mop up squads of infantry like a Dyson
