You are absolutely right sir, instead of conducting the research they are giving verdicts because it's a lot of work to find the root cause so they are taking the easy way out. Small correction most of supplement brands use aspertine or sucralose as artificial sweeteners only few or i would say just naturaltein uses stevia

Doctors can suggest shit protein X because they have their commission fixed there but most of the protein companies do not tied up with the docs for their commission that is why they say its not safe.

@@sureshbesra466 nonsense. Why do growing children need flavoured sugar? Carbs, fats, vitamins and minerals are available in the food at home. We're talking about whey protein supplement. No one is feeding them only whey protein. They'll drink milk, fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, eggs, meats(if the family eats). The problem is insufficient protein, which whey protein can solve. These so called health drinks are just milk solids with maltodextrin, which is basically sugar, and some possible vitamins and minerals. Those things don't even have what they say in the label. Whey protein can be drunk by children too, in fact I'd say that is the best time as they're growing up. They may be able to get great body development. We have an entire generation which has drank all these garbage drinks, and what is the result? We're all the same as before because it was all waste. And Gen X was deceived and lied to. It is our responsibility to correct this situation and not allow these scam companies to operate.
@@CosmicValkyrie After having these health drinks as a kid , are u suffering from any health issues now due to that ? As a kid u need to have balanced diet and not just protein . Carbs , fats , protein , vitamins and all other micronutrients are needed in adequate amounts for children , much more than what grown ups are having in home .So these health drinks help. If ur lifestyle is ok . 2 cups of tea will not harm , similarly for children a health drink a day ( sugary drink as per u) is ok provided children do play sports or any other physical activity
@@sureshbesra466 I think you release how harmful those artificial flavours and colors are, not to mention the preservatives. The obesity in Indian Children is rising steeply, why do they need extra sugar (read ingredient list, I dont think you ever did). Most flavour and colors used in Indian products are banned in EU (like paraben, caramel colors, etc). maybe according to you Indian kids have some immunity to these ingredients
I just read ICMR'S guideline about protine supplement.
Although i take unflavored and unsweetened supplement, still got worried.
So, i was looking for lab results of the brand i take.
Then i found your video.
And i loved it. Loved the research behind it.
ICMR says it is enough to get protine from whole food, but don't they realize, it is IMPOSSIBLE for average indians to eat as much as meat/fish/egg/lentils etc on everyday basis to meet the required protine amount.

Some people are inherently biased against maintaining a fit lifestyle, just look at bodies of those, they're skinny fat themselves and feel threatened by fit people.
Garth davis's book proteinaholic is a good informative book abt protein intake . Also , you can look at dr valter longo's work abt protein and wether that makes sense or not . Protein also plausibly affects aging and cancer etc. By various pathways like igf1 or mtor .
I am not saying one should go low protein , but at the same time i do believe that we dont need verg high protein and its also harmful rather than being helpful .
One can always look at studies and rcts if they wish to further explore this matter of protein themselves.

Sir I recently heard a hair transplant doctor say that whey protein may agravate or trigger hair loss in people who are genetically predisposed to androgenetic alopecia...although there is not much research on it but the doctor advised against whey and recommended protein which are not dairy based.

Sir, the ICMR-NIN guidelines is published for the AVERAGE Indian, covering both, Vegetarians and Non-Vegetarians .
Let’s be clear, the guidelines do not cover nutritional guidelines for Sumo wrestlers, Power Lifters, Bodybuilders et al.
Who may require additional dietary supplements etc.
What it makes clear is that, there’s no need for an average citizen to indulge in expensive protein supplements et al.
Its expected that it will ruffle feathers of the super high margin protein supplements lobby.
However, ignorance of the common masses generally is at the stratospheric layer , thus such guidelines may be buried under the dust, and super profitable supplements (though not required for the common man) may continue to make extra ordinary levels of profits ! 😊

The major issue with supplements in India is duplicity and due to lack of strict implementation of laws companies can add element which may be ban in other countries so if I am buying a supplement for better health which end up harming my well being so what is the use of these supplements . Can you gave us a guaranty that the quality of protein supplements available in for e.g Dubai ,USA etc is the same as we are getting in India ?????

But pure protine without heavy metals, artificial sweetener are rare. Also source must be grass fed cow milk. Then such pure protine supplement is not affordable for most of the people. And how our ancestors did heavy work without consuming large amount of protine ? Why are all are emphasize on protine supplements?
If you can get proper amount of protine from whole food - chicken/meat/fish/egg/plant seeds/lentils etc then no need to tske any supplements.

Got my protein levels tested today and everything is within normal limits ...I just take normal Indian food without any supplements....
So I m not among the population with low protein.
There is no test needed for Proteins
Just check ur daily protein intake
If ur not able to fulfill it from whole foods, a scoop of protein will do that without worries
