Neat seeing this. Many years ago, I used this , I think, latex-based T-shirt glitter "paint" on the belly of my Stalcup Crazy Dad to make the dubbing fuzz look more like legs. Plus it had sparkle in it, like gold, pearl, whatever; so much the better! Now the latex 'paint', gel, IS effected by water, but it never completely wears off or loses its effect. I'm still happy with the fly after a couple uses. And you probably know, some weighted streamers are only good for a day or 2 until they get beat-up, torn-up or otherwise bedraggled.
