I haven't checked out the Anura's but I did look at the Hellbenders - guiderecommended.com/frogg-toggs-hellbender-wading-boots-review/ Tight lines 🐟 David
Absolutely, I like the Simms Flyweights, but an amazing budget pair are the Paramount Outdoors Deep Eddy's, I bought mine from Amazon 👉 amzn.to/47X9H8p I have a detailed article on my website 👉 guiderecommended.com/paramount-outdoors-deep-eddy-wading-boots-review/
I've only swapped out felt once. It delaminated off the boots (I frozen them by accident when wet.) I've never worn the felt out on any of my boots. 🐟 Tight Lines
It’s a shame no one makes a boot with both materials. Simms did make RipRap shoes with rubber rims, felt in the middle. Excellent compromise for those of us who hike distance to get to the water. I bleach my felt soles between streams.
@@GuideRecommendedThe fact that fishers need cleats to make the rubber grab tells me what I need to know. And the cost of those cleats makes military hardware look reasonable.

This is very helpful...I've tried a few different felt wading boots but have not found a favorite. Do you have a fave? Thanks.
