    I misspoke when I was reviewing the Hercules 20V tools. I referred to them as Bauer. Please forgive my error.

      If that's the worst you do then that's pretty good. A lot of people like the Bauer as well as the Hercules . Both have a "buy this and get that free" deals as well.

    I’ve got the standard and metric 1/2” impact sockets, and I like them to keep in my farm truck for working on equipment.

    Many people would disagree with you about the harbor freight stand jacks…
    I went to buy some and several friends have steered me away saying they are dangerously unsafe and have hurt people..

    • @kubiedoesit

      They had a recall on jack stands several years back. That was for a particular model jack stand and has since been resolved. Those are the only issues I am aware of.

    I have the same Craftsman box only in stainless steel from back before Sears went belly up. Love it but I do need to expand.

      @kubiedoesit  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      The pre-Sears demise boxes are pretty good. I have been very impressed with the US General boxes. Something to consider as you expand. By the way, I do not have any affiliation with Harbor Freight and get nothing from them. I just like their stuff. Thanks for watching!

    What's a really good buy right now is the Pittsburgh 3/4" drive impact socket sets. They're $25 now, down from $50. I bought them a few weeks ago at $44 each.

    I love my Hercules 120 volt grinder .use it all the time.i had a Pittsburg 25 " breaker bar and the pin broke after very little use. Dont like it. I have Pittsburg impact sockets and can't beat them.used them for years and no ware.

    Picked up their Hercules portable deep cut band saw and stand on sale for $210. It works great and I’m a guy who wouldn’t buy any power tool from HF ten years ago. Picked up some Doyle vises, the 6” and their wood vise.

    The US General tool storage is a good value for sure, considering that they aren't specialized / hi accuracy / critical tools. Expensive boxes do the same thing, just at 3X the price.

    Cordless tools, you're saying Bauer and showing Hercules. Personally, I have no complaints at all about the 20V Hercules tools I've bought, though I've never tried the Bauer tools. I chose Hercules because if it says "brushless" on the tool, that's a 5 year warranty on the tool and the batteries and chargers have a 3 year warranty.

      I absolutely LOVE my Herc impact driver and ultra torque. I use a Dewalt compact impact and Milwaukee’s mid torque… I think both of those are gaps in the Herc lineup that I wish they’d remedy. But if my only gripe is that they don’t have more tools, it must mean Hercules is pretty good!
      The Daytona jacks are excellent too… I use them as backups for my Quick Jacks.
      Thanks for the video!!!

      The small tool hat trick is the Icon drop point knife, the 1/4 drive set with flex head ratchet, this set is very hard to beat due to its size and flexibility, No it doesn't come with sockets but sockets add a lot of weight especially versatile sets, and lastly the Gordon Multitool. I lost my really nice leatherman and got this instead of buying myself a new $200 leatherman. The Gordon is 95% as good as the best leatherman, a little attention is needed on sharpening everything but I got mine right around $30. These are all tools I use pretty much daily.

      Almost all of HF's Air tools are good value for the money. I've had some of their central pneumatic cheapo stuff that i've used for almost 15 years now that still work great, and I legit have never oiled them or serviced them.

    U simply don't know anything about impact socket design to speak so highly of these HF sockets that clearly have no professional features. No necking down, no stepped shoulder, no surface drive. The cone shape of the smaller sizes will not access tight spaces. Machining costs money and these sockets have cut out all matching bar the minimum. Yet U insist mechanics rave about them. It's just BS.

    • @mattdudley3789
      @mattdudley3789 20 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      I use Pittsburgh PRO daily because they are machined better. The regular Pittsburgh is garbage but he’s right they last forever
