A full tool set for under $100 from Harbor Freight? I will do it and GIVE IT AWAY!!!
18 volt warrior stuff is just fine. No, you're not going to be building cabinets or sinking stuff into concrete. But if you just want to have it around to put up some shelves or fix a light fixture around the house, it does the job quite well. I have one. I've had it for 6 or 7 years now. The batteries last a surprisingly long time. And it's really handy to have it around for just such an occasion.
Glad it is serving you well. Thanks for watching.
Yep....backpack sprayer was a joke. Used it for an half hour and threw it away.....ended up with a Stihl which has lasted for 2 years and going. THe cordless tools are cheap....but the fine print says "Tool only"....that battery pack is $40
Thank you for watching.
On the 4 gallon backpack sprayer, hoping you're wrong and it will work Okay for a somewhat small yard (???) Hoping to be able to use it for a bit of time and then somehow add an Electric pump to spray for weeds/bug's/etc...
I make my reviews based on research and personal experience. I had a bad experience with this sprayer and read reviews from various sources by people who also had bad luck with it. With that said, there always people who have great experiences and swear by some of the tools I don't recommend. Heck, I don't recommend one of the HF creepers because I have read so many bad reviews. However, I have one of the same creepers and haven't had any problems. I say pick up one of the backpack sprayers on sale and give it a shot. Since you are using it for light duty it may be fine. I will warn you it is uncomfortable and a bit awkward to wear on your back. The straps seem to be an after thought. Let me know how it works for you. Crossing my fingers that you have a good experience. Thanks for watching!
@kubiedoesit I won't be using it until sometime this coming spring for either weed's or spider's around here (hopefully I do get some good luck for this application)... Unfortunately I do have the creeper in your video... And in just about all the wheel's the bearing's are falling out and it's out of warranty, so I'm in the process of installing different wheel's in the SIX (I think) spots so I can use it as intended (as current the wheel's grab every crack and follows them, that's when the wheel's are able to rotate, or they take off in a direction other than where you are trying to get to)... I'm glad that you have a good one though...
Im gonna comment as i watch your video: Those snap ring pliers are junk I have those pittsburgh bar clamps. I have no issues with them. I use the 24 inch ones The orange tie downs are great. Been using them for years with no issues Those flap discs are dangerous they shatter Those pittsburgh vice grips are garbage. They are also the same as the kobalt ones. Junk
I'm glad the clamps and tie downs work for you. I appreciate you watching and commenting.
Tractor supply is a Gay liberal run organization. NOT a chance I give them any 💰
The old saying goes, if it's too cheap leave it alone.
You let the cat out of the bag. LOL! I have been going to Tractor Supply to get fasteners and other odds and ends hardware for years. Usually a lot cheaper and you don't have to fight the crowds at the big box stores. Thanks for your helpful tips!
You get hardware at a fraction of what is costs at Lowes, Home Depot, Ace, etc... Thanks for watching!
On the 20 ton or bigger bottle jacks if you put a 12 inch square piece of steel on the bottom of the jack it will make it much more steady
Thanks for the tip! thanks for watching too.
Great tip !!! I refuse to pay those ridiculous prices also, and TS is the closest to my home hahaha.
Same here!
The Hercules titanium drill bits work better than the Irwins
Thanks for the info. Thanks for watching.
I recently finished my basement and ran a lot of wiring, I used this drill a ton going through floor joists and 2x4 studs. I bought 2 batteries and always kept one charged. This drill never failed and still works great today. I have also used it for drilling metal, I think that using good bits rather than junk ones is more important than the drill you’re using and it’s far easier than dragging extension cords all over the place. Maybe I got lucky and got a good one!
"Bundles and bundles of sockets," but can you find your 10mm? 😊 Another great video.
10MM sockets are always in short supply! Thanks for watching!
you are so full of it, please stay off the internet and get a lfie
And the HF Thunderbolt AA batteries are like a 1/16" shorter than what a normal AA battery is making them loose in remotes.
Good to know.
I have never got anything good at harbor freight I haven't been there in years everything they have is a junk Chinese stuff I've had a business for 31 years all my tools are from Mac and snap on and Cornwell don't like the prices of those but they work you get what you pay for nice video appreciate the information
Thank you for watching!
I have to 100% disagree about the Pittsburgh creeper. I got mine on sale for 20$ and it’s been great. I’m 6ft 225lbs and this thing has been amazing in a professuonal shop. Wheels are fine. Other guys Matco creepers have busted out wheels
Thanks for the input and thank you for watching!
What’s nuts is when I bought my 3ton jack in 2013 it was $79..
Inflation sucks! Thank you for watching.
Those shop rags are crap and if you do wash them the color runs on everything , rather just buy the blue shop towels, had no issue with the backpack sprayer either , and yes that electrical tape is the worse
Thank you for the input! Thank you for watching!
Would like to see the Titanium 125 flux welder...
Them shop rags the red one's I have some I use them when I grease bearings or whipping something that's nasty after I'm done I put them in the trash but after they are done I will just get blue disposable shop towels
I use the heck out of the blue disposable shop towels. The microfiber towels too.
I've not found any good Pittsburgh tools
There are many good ones. You just have to be careful. Thanks for watching!
What’s your recommendation on the 5 inch sanding disc? Also add this to the junk list. CENTRAL MACHINERY 50 lb. Portable Abrasive Blaster Kit - Item 59483
Thanks for the heads up on the blaster, I haven't tried the Hercules yet but I haven't had good luck with the other ones (Warrior or Bauer). They are more expensive but you can't go wrong with 3M. Thanks for watching!
I have the blast cabinet, only used included materials when assembling. No dust escaping, gun has worked well, so far. About 6 years old now. I did notice there was an error in the instructions as to where one seal strip was to be placed.
Glad it works for you. Thanks for watching.
I have the drill bit set broke one drilling pine 2/4
Yikes! Thanks for watching.
Appreciate the info. As far as the shop stool., I've used mine for years in my garage. It supports my 220 lbs effortlessly, and rolls across my floor nice and smooth. I like how it stows away nice and small too.
I'm glad it works well for you. Thanks for watching!
Hello, I just found your channel and I'm looking forward to watching the rest of your videos. Great information in this video and part 1. I haven't bought much from Harbor Freight but have heard that the Icon brand is real good. Would you agree? Keep up the great work!
The ICON are really good. Glad you enjoy the content. Thank you for watching!
Def don't buy HF fuel pressure gauge set! (Maddax) improper reading nearly cost me a 1k Vortec injector assy replacement. Always double check pressures with another gauge...
I have heard of fuel pressure gauge issues. What was your experience?
@kubiedoesit Worked twice. (Upper end Maddox version too) Compared with my old Mac pressure gauge, HF read 12 psi less. Third attempt the HF gauge read zero psi. Took it back (bought same day) sime dumb kid working there refused, said it was a fire hazzard, lmfao! Worthless manager said the same. Gave me a 1-800 number to call. NEVER buy any type of diagnostoc equipment from HF, total garbage...
youre spot on with that list.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Sounds like a lot of operator error going on out there.
If it says warrior don’t buy it. Better options similar price. Worth the extra money.
I agree. Thanks for watching.
I have some Bauer tools for a few years now the only problem is the tool out last the battery! But thankfully the battery does not cost as much as big name brands
Thanks for watching!
Batteries u get what u pay for unless kids that leave things on
I like the blue Thunderbolt Max batteries
Great information
Glad you enjoyed it.... Thanks for watching,.
Need to enlarge pics
Noted... Thanks for watching.
98% of people use drills improperly. No use of cutting fluid to cool drill What the grades of steel are m2 m42 chromium titanium coated carbide
Harbor Freight is no longer that cheap
Agree but the quality of a lot of the items has improved greatly. Not all winners but a lot more than their use to be.
It's all about cycles of use
Agree
my mom uses that Dremel to carve her pumpkins. Lsh I bought that tool over 10 years ago for my shop I recommended this tool for my moms pumpkin carving because I already knew that is about all its good for. lol she was set on the engraver but I can only imagine how much of a pos that tool is.
Sounds like a good use for it LOL. Thanks for watching!
Well you just saved me some money and heartache. Thanks for posting these "review" videos. I am sure I am not the only one who learned something here to save money.
Thank you for the kind words. Thanks for watching.
OMGoodness!! once again, you hit the snap ring on the head! I bought a set of these and I have maybe used them once or twice but they fall apart so blamed easy! They are complete crap garbage!
Agree, thanks for watching!
This is amazing that the drillbit set is the first thing you have on your list! I bought one of these drill sets a few years back. I am not a frequent user of drilling things, but I do have a nice Milwaukee powerhouse drill. I started a small engine business this past year. But anyway, the drill bits do not hold up that well in a break so freaking easy and the larger ones do not stay sharp at all.
Thanks for sharing your experience, Thanks for watching!
I think you can safely say, don't buy the Pittsburg anything
There are some good Pittsburgh items.
I just finished part 1 and 2 and I got so interested in the videos I had to go back to hit the like button. Cheap tools are sometimes okay. It depends on what you need them for. An example, I bought some long nose pliers from the dollar store and they work great. But, I only use them to hold wire while I silder it. For that kind of use why not only spend a buck. But that type of use is all they are good for.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
I like the micro fiber towels, I use them all the time.
Me too. Thanks for watching.
I have that backpack sprayer for 3 years and it works just fine.
ThanksBuddy , I’m a retired Woodworker and I do all my own Car and Machinery repair I appreciate the heads-up on those SnapRing Pliers at a fast glance in the Store or Website those seemed like a good idea but I do respect your Conclusion just one. Thing on the Bar Clamps the Brand Walmart. Carries I forget the Brand ATM but for the price they are Well worth the Price IMO the Fiber Reinforced Plastic they are made with are even Superior to the vise GripBrand QuickGrips and I have not had one Loosen up on me like the Quick Grips have for that reason. I won’t use the Quick Grips for holding Straight Edges for Routers or Critical Milling Procedures for those I use my Pony FClamps or Steel CClamps oh they are branded in the Colors of Black and Red and honestly. I have tried. A few other Tools like Pliers their Pick Set and been quite happy with everything. My Personal Mechanic Sets I do own and use are 1950s SK Wayne Ratchet and Socket Sets And Made InUSA Craftsman Wrenches I do also have SK Open and Box End Wrenches from the same time period as my Sockets those were purchased by my Father. In the Phillipinex on some purchase that was available to U.S. Navy Personell at that time including Credit Plans similiar to the big name Tool Trucks offer Actually. ironically it was somehow tied into SnapOn as my Dads Box is SnapOn that I know own and use The Rand isHyper Tough it’s a Made InChina thing but they do have a decent Quality Control on the Items I have honestly it was a Fluke I got a set of the Clamps for Christmas after. Most of my Tools were Stolen
Thanks for the heads up on the clamps. Sounds like your dad left you some great tools. I hope to do the same for my children. Thanks for watching.
I enjoy looking at my local HF store. If I buy anything, I know it’s a disposable, one time tool.
I guess with the Pittsburg creeper, you either get a good one, or one with junky wheels. I bought the green Pittsburgh creeper 2-3 years ago and haven't had any issues whatsoever. I weigh 230lbs and admittedly I don't use it every day. However I find it to be very comfortable, smooth and quiet. For what its worth, i tend to tread lightly on my tools/equipment. Im sure that plays a role in the wheels holding up as i never drop it to the concrete floor. I'm new to your channel and enjoy your content. Id also like to see a tour of your workshop/toolboxes.
Glad it's serving you well. I will be sure to do the tool box tour. Thanks for watching!
I had that creeper. For me, it sucked, but I was using it on blacktop. I broke the plastic near a wheel the 1st day. I'll bet though if you use it on a smooth concrete garage floor, you probably won't have an issue. I blame my driveway as a blacktop surface isn't nearly as smooth as a good concrete one.
@@donnie017mine did the same thing on concrete
I caught hell thirty years ago for buying a Snap On creeper,I still have it to this day on every surface, not a single failure, couple of small tears in the upholstery, but a very good creeper.
Your audio "music" tract adds nothing to your video - it detracts from the presentration.
I know... That was an experiment and I won't be doing it again. Thanks for the advice and thank you for watching.
I disagree with you on the creeper. I have the orange one I bought about 7 years ago and it is still great. The rubber tread wheels are quiet and have never come close to breaking. But to be fair, I weigh about 170 lbs and this may be the reason it has lasted so long.
I have a green one with no issues. However, I based my recommendation on the dozens of bad experiences I found while researching. The breaking wheels and breaking plastic was a constant theme. Thanks for watching.
