- With plans for the Wife and I's Las Vegas trip needing to be cancelled (due to the Mother in Law breaking her leg) I found a bargain cruise from Southampton to Barbados with P&O on their fantastic new ship...Arvia. I decided to take up the offer and travel solo as my Wife's limits on ship travel is the Isle of Wight ferry!!
Join me on this solo cruise as we travel from Southampton to Barbados via Gran Canaria, Tortola, St Kitts and Martinique.
Plenty of clips of the ship, restaurants and their menus and some of the varied entertainment onboard.
Part 2. Gran Canaria to British Virgin Islands. 7 nights and 6 full sea days!
I love the introduction of the "Grumpy's rating" on the food and the fact that the deserts are always higher😆

@@kevinharris4829 I forgot it was half term and the train to Waterloo was rammed! Queue for lift at Southamptin station was pretty large!

We've just been watching and reminiscing about the trip and those relaxing sea days. We wish we were back there now! Since that trip we've tried MSC and would not recommend, it's like being trapped in an endless episode of Eurotrash (if you remember that).

Just watched your video. Even seen my wife and myself on it lol. We where dressed as Batman and Batman women on 31/10/23,, could see us on the silent disco footage lol we loved the cruise had no problems with anyone except some very rude middle aged ladies who spoke all the way through a show. We loved it so much we’ve re booked for October 2025

Hi. Looking at this cruise for 2024. Are you happy to reveal cost of your cruise and who you booked it through and when?. Additionally, recent YT bloggers complained that this is essentially a glorified booze cruise. Comments?
No problem on tbe cost. It was a bargain. Booked as a Late Saver 1 month before. Cost for solo occupancy of that balcony cabin was an insane £1650 for the whole 2 weeks, booked through Iglu (was only £50 more direct with P&O)
As it was a bit of a bargain, they're were a few ****s onboard. Rows and threats over sunbeds and a punch up between 2 middle aged guys in the casino. I was on the same table 10 foot away.
The vast majority ie 5000 out of the 5023 passengers were great and very respectable cruisers. Just a few gave that particular cruise a bit of a bad rep.

@fionapickering6389 Yes, but as you will see in the final Vlog, I binned Maleth Aero flight I was booked on before I set out and flew back Upper Class with Virgin (I had miles and a upgrade voucher)
