Some cruise vloggers who were on the same ship have completely trashed the ship, the passengers, the food, entertainment and other aspects ... But they boarded wanting to dislike the cruise so had a negative slant. You guys have boarded to enjoy it.

Just come back from a Caribbean cruise on Arvia. Have to say the boat is magnificent. We went to the boatyard beach in Barbados and have to say it was the best beach I have ever visited. White sand and crystal clear water and wasn't too noisy. We managed to swim with the turtles there and snorkel around the boat wrecks. Great video.
Another great video. We are off for 35 nights next January out of Southampton on the Iona, that should see most of the winter done. I'll look forward to seeing what you make of your next two cruise lines. Hopefully they will be fabulous

Gareth Gates came second in pop idol over 20 years ago. Will Young was the winner. I did the transatlantic on the Britannia the week before you and it was also at full capacity. I think they are popular because they tend to be cheaper than fly cruises. I really enjoyed it but not sure I would do another transatlantic as I was itching to get off the ship after a few days. Glad you liked the Arvia. I’ve booked the Christmas cruise on the Iona which I chose instead of Arvia because I think the ports around Spain and Canaries will be more Christmassy than the Caribbean.

@@gavinnaylor1428 you can only book a single day for the internet not by the hour as well as a package for the whole cruise. There is something nice not having internet and we both had to work online for part of the cruise lol. We just paid for the odd day when we needed it
Another great video fellow welshies. How does this ship compare to Britannia? As I have been on Iona and due to go on Britannia to the Canaries start of July as neatly 4k cheaper than Arriva for a balcony cabin in July.
@@no1welshboyo We enjoyed our trip on Brittania to the Fjords. Overall we preferred the layout on Arvia as Brittania had some issues with the layout and lifts. Saying that our cabin was good and we would definitely go on it again.
I love Arvia and a transatlantic cruise is fantastic. Have you seen Ben and David’s review of the food and their cabin. I am very disappointed in them. They deliberately chose a mini suite on deck 8 and slated the cabin and the food.
We met them on embarkation day. We haven't watched the series but we've heard about it. I think there's a bit of 'drama' put in for views. They would definitely know what room they were booking. Some of the food may not be good but on our trip there was plenty of included places which were very good. We loved it and would do it again.

I know what the foods like on Arvia and the rest of the fleet, so I don’t believe all they’ve shown, but some do. I’m glad you loved it, there’s something special about these cruises. I can’t wait to do another one. Would you go to/from Bournemouth. I think this might be a better alternative than Gatwick from South Wales, if it was available of course.
@@carolr9301 Although closer, Bournemouth isn't the easiest to get to but it is quiet. Also, the Bournemouth flights are still with TUI and not Maleth Aero.

Yes, that’s what they say. But that was when they were heading east and the Posh people wanted to be on the shaded (cool) side., long before air conditioning.
I missed the last video. Really sorry you were unwell. Always say the truth yes sometimes its going to annoy some viewers but speaking from personal experience. Not to slag other channels off for the sake of it they are so generic in what they speak about. It's like a promotional film of the trip.

Why would you go on Arvia trans atlantic as they don't have all the interesting talks that Cunard have and The queen mary is a much more sturdy than arbia.
There were plenty of times when your wife went off to activities which were not suitable. On cunard their talks and activities would have had something for your interest.
You will love it. The food..the ambience.. the culture. Outside space. Loved all 3 queens.

We felt like that. It isn't for everyone but at the moment we do like it. We still like traditional trips where you have longer to explore.

Maybe because it was a delightful trip.
