As a Karachi wala with Hyderabadi roots …… i enjoy it both ways. Specially If the haleem is Thick, heavy and spicy its better to have it with Naan.

I am from Kashmir and here we call it 'Hersa'. That being said we prepare it traditionally in large copper pots called "deecha" ,we also add some rice to it to make it thick and se don't use any blender to hasten the process instead we stir it manually and simultaneously till the meat is melted. It does take quite some time but it is worth it. The version you made has a very thin consistency and color is also a bit different than ours.

One thing you all got wrong is "Blending Haleem" Never ever blend Haleem. If you want the authentic texture you need to beat it. Blending shreds the fibers and make them paste while beating only breaks the fibers apart into thinner and thinner hairs. Which gives it the Mozerella-like texture.
