Especially, after I tried the same model and vintage plastic alto with interesting results. They used to claim that silver mouthpieces sounded brighter than gold. That was debunked after decades.
@@ed.z. It certainly is interesting. I tend to fall into the camp that the actual dimensions of a product affect its sound more than its materials, but of course cosmetic differences matter.

It’s a bit over the top. Especially, if you play outside of the museum it must be stored in.
