Cuando peleo con mi mamá, suelo escuchar esta canción ya que me parece muy reconfortante ya que la voz de mitski en esta canción y en esta versión parece como si de una canción de cuna se tratase, en cierto modo también la puedo interpretar de acuerdo a ese caso, porque "i bet on losing dogs, I know the're losing and I'll pay for my place" (lo cual puedo decir que se refiere a como intento que la relación con mi mamá mejore, se que no lo podré lograr pero aún intento) "Where I'll be looking in their eyes when they're down, I'll be there on their side, I'm losing by their side" (estaré para apoyar a mi mamá y trataré con todas mi fuerzas de que funcione pero no puedo y pierdo, me pierdo a mi misma) "I always want you when I'm finally fine" (esta parte se explica sola 😢), así que, esta canción me duele demasiado.
