Honestly, Mangle’s radio and the cutscenes inside Freddy are still kinda interesting. We still don’t really know what they actually was supposed to mean, if they even were supposed to mean anything at all. That’s kinda cool tho

Hence why the Puppet comes in eventually and the other animatronics look at Freddy. Sort of a "you're finally awake" monent.
BonBon having no lower body is of course a reference to how Bonnie had his legs severed by helicopter blades before bleeding out in a Vietnamese swamp.
New theory, Full Metal Jacket is part of the FNAF timeline. “Animal Mother” is a reference to how he’s the strongest of a group of Marines who all gained animal based nicknames. (Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Freddy/Fredbear). Henry Emily and William Afton were part of Animal Mother’s platoon during the Tet offensive. Inspired by the horrors of war and the desire to shift their lives towards peace and joy, Henry and William (mainly Henry) envision Fredbear and Bonnie, and later the rest of the cast. This is referenced in the Mickey Mouse song at the end of Full Metal Jacket. Displaying how the Marines have had their childhood innocence ripped away for good with their baptism by fire. However, it also displays a yearning for those happier days that Henry believed could be revived through his own children’s characters. Assuming William and Henry were drafted or enlisted at 17-18 they would be in their mid to late 30s by the events of FNAF 4 and the opening of Fredbear’s which roughly lines up as I doubt they would be able to have such an (initially) formidable company built in their early 20s. Furthermore, Full Metal Jacket displays the use of child soldiers such as the Sniper in the end fight of the film. During this time William could have possibly started his child killing spree without even fully realizing it. (I may have been joking when I originally typed this but now I really want to believe in it.)
Pondering this insane level of stretch further, the song “Paint it black” that plays at the end of Full Metal Jacket has many lyrics that match up with Henry and William’s story. While the song itself sounds like it is about a man losing his Wife, it could also be seen about a man losing his daughter. “I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes, I have to hold my head until my darkness goes”. “I could not foresee this thing happening to you” “I look inside myself and see my heart is black” etc. This reflects Henry’s grief and depression following Charlie’s death in the drive by stabbing mini game.

There was an old theory where some people thought there was a child hiding inside Balloon Boy, the proof being two apparent eyes being visible inside BB's mouth. The thing is, Mangle was the first ever character to replace another (toy versions of the main three were based on the same in-game character), and since foxy (number one fan favorite at the time) was male people were like "that's toy foxy, foxy is male, toy foxy must be too". The theory was that mangle had a clown theme and that explained the lipstick
As far as I've heard, the mangle noise is actually just drone telemetry, rather than police radio codes. Just something meant to sound creepy rather than any lore significance.

UCN shouldn’t’ve had lore with it (other than Afton being in hell), and Pizzeria Simulator should have been the end of the story. Love the games and appreciate Scott’s creativity and willingness to sprout an entire universe and franchise out of pure willpower but he could have handled the story better.
I figure the third Paper Plate Pal is supposed to be Balloon Boy. It’s not a perfect match, but the colours match up and there’s not many human animatronics in the series. Alternatively, it might just be the kid who made them
This video has reminded me how much scarier and creepier FNaF 2 is than any of the newer games. I don't know if it is beause it came out when I was younger, or if it is because it was my first FNaF game or if it was genuinely scarier but I miss it. Something about the being stuck in a single room and that incredible cold opening cut scene are unmatched for me. This is easily the best game in the franchise if you ask me.

I remember hearing this one theory back in the day that Toy Bonnie was the one to take Toy Chica's beak because, and I kid you not, colour theory. The person was taking art class at the time and was talking about how blue was the opposite of orange and therefor Toy Bonnie, being blue, took Toy Chica's beak because it was orange. They also mentioned something about the two of them having beef with each other but it's been 8 years so I can't remember all the details. In hindsight it's a really funny theory and I'm glad I managed to remember most of it.

When I first saw FNaF 2 in 2014, I thought it was about a shrunken person being attacked by literal toys..... This game introduced me to this wonderful franchise. Actually remember people talking about the songs being canon. Almost 10 years ago? It's been so long!
4:29 You know, there have been some recent timeline theories that propose that Mike might've worked alongside Afton up until Sister Location, if we go by those theories, then this theory could maybe come back with the badged purple man being Mike tampering with the animatronics and William being the pink-child-killer he's always been. (I don't really believe in this theory, but it is an interesting perspective to look at the games through, plus it makes this one small detail look REALLY COOL :D)
It would be cool, I think however that the purple guy was badged because William was working the day shift to be able to pull of his crimes. Also the tampering with animatronics thing was all actually just an easter egg since to play the night you had to mess with them to change the difficulty. That’s a nice theory however :D
We know now that William was keeping tabs on his kids to keep them away from the animatronics and continue his research. So I doubt he’d have the kid who killed his younger kid, work with him at all
One genuinely interesting theory I saw was about Mangle’s radio. It speculated that based on the occasional voice lines that could be heard in the radio static, Mangle’s radio was playing a police response to either the Bite of ‘87 or the 2nd spree of murders that occurred at the FNAF 2 location. There’s some lines in the Night 6 phone call that sort of add to this.
If I remember correctly the Mangle radio tidbit was actually Mangle trying to broadcast the equivalent of a “no/ failing connection” code to the police net Which basically means it’s scanner and other related security systems were borked (makes sense considering it’s state) and it’s constantly trying to phone home
I remember some saying that Mangle/Foxy's teeth didnt necessarily mean they did the bite since their teeth were both flattened at the end. But with the angle and way Mangle literally _lunges_ into you, im pretty sure her teeth can do a bit of damage, blunt or not.
Literally all the animatronics save for Toilet Bonnie open their mouth and jump straight at your face. While Mangle is certainly a candidate, he/she/“yes” is not the end all be all.

This is related to the next game, and it is something Mat Pat brought up, but I always wondered if the Shadow animatronics were in fact employees killed by other springlock suits. Phone Guy mentions why they were discontinued and in hindsight he wouldn't know about Afton's death. The reason they act different is because they're not child murder victims or the murderer punished in an ironic fashion, but the ghosts of normal people killed by company incompetence
7:38 I pretty much always saw it as him using Golden Freddy. There are some big unanswered questions related to that conclusion, but it is the one that makes the most sense, considering that reusing character designs like that is usually purposeful in this series, like how there are multiple potential reasons why Shadow Bonnie generally looks like Toy Bonnie and then like what one would expect Springtrap to look like in 8bit.

I was heavy into the lore of FNAF in the early days, and even though I may have been like 12 or so, I still couldn't comprehend how someone would think that reversing a song that's existed since the 18th century was somehow the key to unlocking hidden lore.
I love these videos because it’s a good example of finding patterns in random noise, confirmation bias, and anomaly hunting. It’s made more complicated by the fact that the creator would then take the cool ideas he liked and make them plot points later making them seem correct but almost all of this is just hallucinating ideas over random noise. But this is an extremely valuable lesson for more serious topics. Just because you found something weird (aka an anomaly) doesn’t necessarily imply anything other than randomness. This is why basic statistical literacy is so important. If you look at literally any event in history in extreme detail, you will find an endless supply of weird details that could be used to support any baseless conspiracy theory you wanted. Statistically speaking, anomalies happen constantly. This is why in science it’s critical to identify the variables you’re looking at BEFORE you start looking at the data. Finding patterns in random noise means nothing.
Okay so a theory that popped into my head while watching this: What if the halloween update for fnaf 4 was supposed to be a hypothetical view for Charlie? My main thought for this is that in the main game, Nightmare is just a recolored and more sinister looking nightmare fredbear, who of course we know bit the head off of the player’s head. In the halloween version, nightmare is a more twisted puppet which of course is what Charlie possesses. Furthermore, nightmare mangle is in the closet instead of foxy which of course we know mangle was meant to be targeted more towards girls. For the jack-o-animatronics my only sort of connection would be Charlie smelling the smoke of Afton’s car or something.

Awww man, some of these theories take me back. The mangle 911 theory is one that sounds like it makes sense but can be debunked as false with other explanations. Maybe mangle's voice box is damaged, maybe her voice box managed to find the police radio frequency, or it could just be that scott added it in as part of her character or as a gameplay mechanic where she makes it hard to hear movement. I dont know, im gonna try and theorize anymore than that

Happy to see my suggestion after watching the first video came true. The theories were pretty straight forward this time but it was still fun trying to piece together the story as best as we could. Personally, my theory (which of course was far from the actual truth) was that the puppet was actually possessed by a demon and had Purple Guy/Afton do it’s bidding by killing the children and allowing the puppet to bring them to life as their minions. It was mostly because the puppet was the one animatronic I feared a lot as well as the phone guy having a notable dislike for it as well. Simpler times indeed😂

This is referenced in the Mickey Mouse song at the end of Full Metal Jacket. Displaying how the Marines have had their childhood innocence ripped away for good with their baptism by fire. However, it also displays a yearning for those happier days that Henry believed could be revived through his own children’s characters. Assuming William and Henry were drafted or enlisted at 17-18 they would be in their mid to late 30s by the events of FNAF 4 and the opening of Fredbear’s which roughly lines up as I doubt they would be able to have such an (initially) formidable company built in their early 20s. Furthermore, Full Metal Jacket displays the use of child soldiers such as the Sniper in the end fight of the film. During this time William could have possibly started his child killing spree without even fully realizing it. (I may have been joking when I originally typed this but now I really want to believe in it.)
Pondering this insane level of stretch further, the song “Paint it black” that plays at the end of Full Metal Jacket has many lyrics that match up with Henry and William’s story. While the song itself sounds like it is about a man losing his Wife, it could also be seen about a man losing his daughter. “I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes, I have to hold my head until my darkness goes”. “I could not foresee this thing happening to you” “I look inside myself and see my heart is black” etc. This reflects Henry’s grief and depression following Charlie’s death in the drive by stabbing mini game.

There was an old theory where some people thought there was a child hiding inside Balloon Boy, the proof being two apparent eyes being visible inside BB's mouth. This video has reminded me how much scarier and creepier FNaF 2 is than any of the newer games. I don't know if it is beause it came out when I was younger, or if it is because it was my first FNaF game or if it was genuinely scarier but I miss it. Something about the being stuck in a single room and that incredible cold opening cut scene are unmatched for me. This is easily the best game in the franchise if you ask me.

I remember hearing this one theory back in the day that Toy Bonnie was the one to take Toy Chica's beak because, and I kid you not, colour theory. The person was taking art class at the time and was talking about how blue was the opposite of orange and therefor Toy Bonnie, being blue, took Toy Chica's beak because it was orange. They also mentioned something about the two of them having beef with each other but it's been 8 years so I can't remember all the details. In hindsight it's a really funny theory and I'm glad I managed to remember most of it.

One genuinely interesting theory I saw was about Mangle’s radio. It speculated that based on the occasional voice lines that could be heard in the radio static, Mangle’s radio was playing a police response to either the Bite of ‘87 or the 2nd spree of murders that occurred at the FNAF 2 location. There’s some lines in the Night 6 phone call that sort of add to this.

This is related to the next game, and it is something Mat Pat brought up, but I always wondered if the Shadow animatronics were in fact employees killed by other springlock suits. Phone Guy mentions why they were discontinued and in hindsight he wouldn't know about Afton's death. The reason they act different is because they're not child murder victims or the murderer punished in an ironic fashion, but the ghosts of normal people killed by company incompetence

There are some big unanswered questions related to that conclusion, but it is the one that makes the most sense, considering that reusing character designs like that is usually purposeful in this series, like how there are multiple potential reasons why Shadow Bonnie generally looks like Toy Bonnie and then like what one would expect Springtrap to look like in 8bit.

I was heavy into the lore of FNAF in the early days, and even though I may have been like 12 or so, I still couldn't comprehend how someone would think that reversing a song that's existed since the 18th century was somehow the key to unlocking hidden lore.

I love these videos because it’s a good example of finding patterns in random noise, confirmation bias, and anomaly hunting. It’s made more complicated by the fact that the creator would then take the cool ideas he liked and make them plot points later making them seem correct but almost all of this is just hallucinating ideas over random noise.
But this is an extremely valuable lesson for more serious topics. Just because you found something weird (aka an anomaly) doesn’t necessarily imply anything other than randomness. This is why basic statistical literacy is so important. If you look at literally any event in history in extreme detail, you will find an endless supply of weird details that could be used to support any baseless conspiracy theory you wanted.
Statistically speaking, anomalies happen constantly. This is why in science it’s critical to identify the variables you’re looking at BEFORE you start looking at the data. Finding patterns in random noise means nothing.

Okay so a theory that popped into my head while watching this: What if the halloween update for fnaf 4 was supposed to be a hypothetical view for Charlie? My main thought for this is that in the main game, Nightmare is just a recolored and more sinister looking nightmare fredbear, who of course we know bit the head off of the player’s head. In the halloween version, nightmare is a more twisted puppet which of course is what Charlie possesses. Furthermore, nightmare mangle is in the closet instead of foxy which of course we know mangle was meant to be targeted more towards girls. For the jack-o-animatronics my only sort of connection would be Charlie smelling the smoke of Afton’s car or something.

Happy to see my suggestion after watching the first video came true. The theories were pretty straight forward this time but it was still fun trying to piece together the story as best as we could. Personally, my theory (which of course was far from the actual truth) was that the puppet was actually possessed by a demon and had Purple Guy/Afton do it’s bidding by killing the children and allowing the puppet to bring them to life as their minions. It was mostly because the puppet was the one animatronic I feared a lot as well as the phone guy having a notable dislike for it as well. Simpler times indeed😂
