Best theme for the best bossfight!
This remix was quite tricky to pull off: I definitely wanted to make it drum and bass to properly deliver that feeling of speed that the Mantis have but the original theme is composed in triplets and that doesn't work that well with drum and bass. So I had to rework it a little and make small adjustments to melody and tempo, but I'm pretty satisfied with the final result!

I thought it was more of a HOSSA
By far my favorite hollow knight boss. Not because of its difficulty, but how its set up, how it sets the pace for the game, the broken pillar belonging to the traitor lord, and the fact you challenge them, rather then them jumping you, and you not killing them, just earning respect, along with the mantises bowing to you.

The best thing about the challenging thing is that it is reserved for the best fights. It is only used for Mantis Lords, the ghosts of great warriors, and the literal sun.

I didn't actually think they were all that intense in the game, but this here really captures the panic, the bravery, the intensity and the flow of what the fight must feel like on a ground level, actually going up and challenging the greatest in a tribe of warriors. The higher notes convey that sort of angularity that the boss has, and its control of direction and continuousness over you, the lower pitched sounds bring in the gritty, sludgy feel of continuously hitting, and the record scratching reminds me of how spells and getting hit feel. The choir, brings in that heavenly Godmaster element, and one of those one-track finishes you use really well to keep the melody fresh in your head and to wind you out of dubstep mode. You've really *nailed* this one! Beforehand, I thought they were a decent boss but not particularly special, likely due to coming back later than I should have to fight them, but now I recognise the distinguished atmosphere, rhythm and geometry of the fight, and geometry is cool!

Idea: Gods of battle, sisters of battle but at 3X speed and when you beat them all they all stand up, traitor lord drops from the top of the screen, and it goes to 4X speed.

Yes! As I mentioned in my community post, I'll keep on doing MH remixes as well. I just wanna expand to more games as well! It's not a reduction of MH content, rather an additional of extra remixes.
