Seeing these folks live at the Presbyterian church in Los Angelas back in like 2012 or 13 was the best show I have ever seen. The chemistry was immaculate.

This is magic. Eric does not get enough attention for the incredible combination he and Tift have formed for years. Throw everybody together and it's just plain magic.

Eric is a profoundly gifted, sensitive musician. Eric Haywood seems content in the support role, surely his humility shines through.

Absolutely loved this video. Your music (both Andrew & Tift) is so heartfelt. Beautiful Lryics, some of which are quite heartwrenching. I'm an old Incredible String Band fan and I find your music totally refreshing and your energy authentic. Thank you for sharing it!

It's amazing that: people whom you never personally, up-close met - can shape the aesthetics of your life so much and with so much sentiment to ongoings of your own life over a period of years, solely through their creative gifts.

I saw the Hands of Glory in Tulsa with my wife and it was simply amazing hearing these guys surround a single mic and sing harmonies that old room. Also, it is impossible for Tift to get any more charming and lovely.

I simply love this...the harmonies, the dialogue, the history....truly touching and my best to all. Thanks for hosting and sharing! I found this looking for Tift not knowing the gift that Andrew brings. 🙂 Wonderful to find something new and beautiful!

I don't know how to describe this. I'll do my best. Communicating through music is such a different experience to me than communicating with spoken language. You have to take turns with language. You have to interpret, think about, respond, hope, and usually be disappointed that you were unable to put into words the feelings, or ideas, you are experiencing. Having pure interactions through music can remove all those barriers as if they never existed in the first place. That's all I have so far. Really enjoying these videos. They are helping me understand my dissonance. 💚💚

Sitting perched on a stool in my attic, listening to you all play together. Late morning here in the far southwest of England but drifting to where you are through such lovely music.

I love this series, but at is there a point where they give the third person on the left a mic to use when they are talking. It reminds me of when I am at the dentist and they have a tool in my mouth and ask me questions.

A bitter and cynical friend once told me that going to America would be a waste of time as I would never find what I was looking for. Such a foolish man he is. In the last few months I have found Andrew Bird, Tift Merritt and Alex Ebert. And that's just from TH-cam. Imagine what else might be there for me when I go.. God willing.

When you hear music like this it makes you wonder who is pushing all the dumbed down, garbage "muisc" that is mainstream & gets programmed on the kids these days. Very disgusting (and tragic) that this beauty & purity in this video isn't being promoted to the masses.... rather - we get mostly garbage shoved down our throats in almost all aspects of mainstream culture these days. (music, movies, tv, video games, news, ads, etc) - and it's not by accident either. 99% of what we have been "programmed" with over the past 2 decades is mainly dark and wicked. it takes those who "don't follow" the herd to seek out and find this type of beauty. and that's why we are here.
