Slight issue in the 2nd Magnolia list unfortunately (no clue how decklog let this slide since it always throws an error prompt): take out 1 Ellenia for 1 overTrigger Apologies for the mistake! Also looks like the Bastion guide got taken down 😭 I’ll try and poke around and see if the author is maybe just rewriting it
I'm planning on building around Pulverizing Fault using Coffin Shooter to get orders to the bind zone quicker. Having four orders will get you a 30k Fatty that stays during your opponent's turn, which is nothing to sniff at.
The Overdress format I personally find a lot of fun. While opening DBT-01 Zorga came to me despite me hunting for Keter so I guess that's a sign that Aqua Force is still with me so Stoichea all the way.
Glad to see some underdogs getting a big boost in the third set. Zorga is going to be fun to mess around, Pulverizing Fault seems like a fun card to build around to get a meaty unit each turn.
Damn, I had very mixed feelings toward Bastion’s playstyle for the first few sets, but the Ragreal deck seems way more interesting! If anyone knows a video where I could see it in action let me know!
This deck list is helpful for all the decks I want to build in the future right now I just got back into the game and currently building dragon empire I am gonna build keter sanctuary next then later on pbd then flagburg.
Man, it sucks to see Valiente powercept out of the deck like this. He was such a really cool looking unit... I'm sure this version of Nirvana will be fun to play too though, so I'm looking forward to building it!
Valiente was kinda powercrept by set 2 haha. Most of the Overdress decks that were topping focused on Erger and didn't play Valiente. If you want a build that doesn't play Valiente though...... there's a build that focuses on the order that lets you get power and draw for every turn you overdress in a turn. Valiente and Exspecta let you overdress multiple times in a turn, so you play 4 of each and try and draw a ton of cards and get a ton of power and have humongous overdress units.
@@jacobjensen7704 Ah, I actually wouldn't know. I couldn't actually play with anything until recently because of an issue with eBay. I guess I just missed out on messing around with him lol
So I actually made some interesting changes to the Flagburg deck. I swapped the ratios of Admantis and Agress and swapped Admantis with In Search of an Ideal Far Away to give Flagburg hella attack points. So basically, Flagburg will get a massive 20k attack power bonus
Hi hi, first amazing video and for some reason the link for the Bastion article isn't working and I wanted to read all about it because I want to see the JP point of view on the card, so could you see what is wrong please? And R.I.P PBD still not seeing the cards it needs q.q
Personally, my Eugene & Bavsargra decks are probably gonna loan the new crit from my Overlord deck since Overlord can now play every single format just fine.
Honest question here for those who play zorga, do we still run Hendrina in the deck? I've seen some list more recently featured on WCC that have actually cut her. So I'm just curious if that is a correct play or if that is an optional slot or something.
If you plan on running essentially a normal Zorga deck then yes absolutely. You'll generally see people cut Hendrina if they plan on a Pulverizing Fault focused build to focus on binding more for a chunkier unit on each player's turn.
@DifferentFight In the terms of each type of deck thats been released, in which of these do you think has enough support and can do well and which do you think can do with better support to catch up and see the game be more equal and not so one sided.
Feels to me like Dragonic Overlord should 1000% play the guy that throws himself to soul to give the vanguard 5000. 18000 is a really important number for Overlord to hit so that his single drive check attack isn't walled by a single 15k shield. Every time I see it run out of Nehalems to set that number up, it really starts floundering.
question: how does the bastion build get 5 attacks i can only see 4 attacks from the build as u go 1. ragreal attack from rg, 2.vg attacks check g3 restand rag 3. rg on other rg attacks 4. rag attacks just wondering as im a bastion player and that parts puzzled me and theres only 1 way i can think of but u would have to put a certain g1 from the set in
Apologies I mentioned that as a maximum example with Lepisto and CCs, should’ve specified that it’s just the max potential but didn’t apply to that specific list
Sadly you can't really build a deck from just 1 box, but if there's a clan you like from the 24 in the box you can buy a Start Deck for the nation that the clan is from (like how Royal Paladin is from Keter Sanctuary) and slot those cards in, so you can play your first Premium games! Otherwise, if you're a total beginner to Vanguard, it's best to start with the Standard format, in which you can just start with one of the unmodified Start Decks that released earlier this year. I have a video that might help you choose as well: th-cam.com/video/EEh-6TnBsdU/w-d-xo.html
How come in Magnolia profiles people like Enbarr so much? It'll usually be a 18k attacker assuming no triggers since other units might want it more (8k base, 5k from itself, and 5k from Magnolia) so it wouldn't hit over triggers. 10k shield I get Magnolia doesn't draw without triggers so a shield is nice, but overall how come if it might not hit? Just curious.
I mean normally back row attacks only hit either 13 or 15 depending on if you're using a grade 1 or 2, only Elantre hits 23k. The grade 1 from the ride line also hits 18k and that was used for quite a while, so this is just that but it doesn't need to attack from the back row for that power up and can intercept as a 10k. The bounce back is just useful if you're fighting a deck with removal or Lenard. Still doesn't hit over triggers unfortunately but not a lot of things do in the deck on their own
@@CosmicNebula444 The grade 2 vanguard, Lattice, hits for 25k in the back if you soul blast. The promo card fox is much better for that now since it's basically free now. Then Elrante does hit for 23k behind the 2 vanguards for sure. Then the doggos usually boost each other for 30k if you have the girl to move them. I see your intercepting point I forgot they did that lol, I just find it hard to believe it is better to run them. Maybe once I play test it I can see it better since honestly even the mole looks better to boost 10k to a unit in the back lol
@@h.ventura9129 I barely ever use Lattice personally, it's rare I even use Wild Intelligence honestly so it never gets on the field. I probably should try that more but either way, I'm not sure if a line of Koocy or if the extra attack would be better. Ik it hits 30k on it's own but I usually only have 1 on the field at a time
@@h.ventura9129 It's quite simple really I got 3 of Giunosla for the power bouncing 4 of Damainaru because of course 2 of Elrante, although I might bump him up a bit I run 4 of Koocy and Urjula for that 15k shenanigan And then 4 wild Intelligence, which I might bump down to 2 because I really never use it like I said earlier. My deck at least has a lot of small swings to have the opponent over guard, then pass some power around with Giunosla for a bigger number. And triggers of course, if I pull em. I feel like Lattice just clogs back row swings, since I want either Elrante, Giunosla or Damainaru back there to activate their effects. 20k is a more awkward number to guard than 25 so I feel like it's more cost effective too. I run rainbow triggers right now, not sure now that'll change with set 3 yet
No offense, when it comes to V Series builds, Japanese know how to build V Series decks. When it comes to Overdress, the Japanese build very awkwardly. Bastion is one of those fine examples. Run the new order. Hello, it's boost til the end of the fight for one discard. People sleep on it. Fosado is resource management for Bastion. Either that list very confident they will win, or damage denying them would essentially screw them over until the opponent can go all out. Honestly, don't listen to decklists like this. Use it as a foundation and build your own. I trust JPN for V Series decks, but Overdress I don't. Played many of them and they performed badly. Made my changes, performed and piloted way better and won a lot better.
Man, hearing about Flagberg again just reminds me that it's a strictly better Magnolia, and as someone who connected most with that deck when Overdress came out, it really annoys me. At least my boy Zorga and my girl Hexaorb got some banger support this set
@@jacobjensen7704 Mechanically it is, I feel. It's just about as resource heavy, but its swings come from restands instead of back row attacks, so they still have the rising numbers to put on more pressure. The vg skill costs the same amount, except it's not persona ride reliant and just better since it pluses, retires AND gives guard restrict after an already big onslaught of attacks. Plus they just hit for bigger numbers overall with some of the power boosts they have access to. The only advantage I can see Magnolia having is the fact that it swings first the majority of the time, so triggers can get dispersed through the units. Not that it matters much for Flagberg, since if it hits the 5 attack milestone, which it probably will, the opponent can't pg unless they put down a minimum of 3 cards, and then discard again unless they have 1 card in hand. Which while likely, doesn't bode well for their next turn. Idk, people need to actually play the decks for us to find out, and not a lot of people use decks outside of Bruce, Bastion and Loro now to my knowledge.
Uh...the PR Magnolia list is illegal. It only has 15 triggers, not the 16 that must be ran. So...maybe you should leave a pinned comment or an edit or something to update that list so it has the 16 triggers in it.
