Douglas Harbour on the isle of man is crazy for the amount of species you can get it's where the ferry comes in and out and sandy and we get cod mackerel flattish "not me on the latter " Pollack bass mullet conger huss and lesser spotted even the odd ray n lobster and the whiting I can't believe how brutal they are, one session I was try for mackerel and just kept getting 100s of pin whiting so I ledgers one and floated one and the ledgers one came up cannibalism by more whiting and the floating one pulled in a bigger whiting, they are pretty ruthless considering they don't look much they can hammer bait and plague a session as I'm sure you know. Good show btw
Absolutely agree m8, I've just been tidying up my tackle and I had no idea how many lures I've bought over winter I had so many they wouldn't all fit in my separate lure box that was just the metal lures also got dozens of different soft plastic lures aswell way more than I'll ever use, anyway I asked you about them bait impact shields and watched a 1 minute video and I now see its a simple mechanism the bead pops the hook off on impact so simple but it's one I'd seen many times but I always missed something but I just made a test one and it works but the cat wasn't helpful lol. If you are going to sandy point in may, the main targets will be smoothounds and bass! I would take whole king prawns from any supermarket and would collect some hardback crabs. If you need a tackle shop you have micks tackle in Hayling or Fishon and cosham angling about 20 mins away
Well done mate another decent session , I use my 4 n Baits for pretty much everything now theyre cracking rods for the money , to the point I've got rid of nearly everything else apart from a 6nBait which i barely use
It adds an extra attractant especially at night and in murkey water, they glow up brilliant aswell, they look awesome when they are glowing and you cast out at night 😎

Told you a couple years ago, combine the fire loop with the hellrazor and you’ve got an awesome bit of kit!! I would never change mine! 👍👍

Ah that’s a shame, we had a fair few bites but it was slow, the time of year unfortunately 😓 still my favourite venue to fish
