  • October 1 -- Restaurants are sometimes described as magical, but Heston Blumenthal takes this a little further at the Fat Duck, which reopened this week after a £2.7 million ($4.1 million) refurbishment that includes a new kitchen and a new look. Bloomberg's chief food critic Richard Vines spoke exclusively to owner Heston Blumenthal on the first day of opening.

That's the formula to making great inspirational food , Some of his creations are so wacky , Food should be fun , it's what we look forward to , especially when we eat out.

The cooks should all go and work on a North Sea oil rig and put huge portions of paprika goulasch on plates with a pair of tweezers !

Heston reminds me of a young boy, full of playful curiosity, who's living his 13yold dreams; the 'storyteller' drab is so dull though
