A shorter and sillier animatic this time :D also known as "my linework getting messier by the second" the video.
It's a bit wonky, I drew this while attending webinars haha. Should have planned this whole animatic ahead but I just kept drawing and hoped for the best. I also wanted to make a more storyboard type of animatic. :)
also oh no i just noticed please nobody comment about how I forgot to draw the chains on dream's arms in that one frame 😭 I was very tired okay

Their shadows, the way Techno handed Quackity a potato and he threw it in the lava, the way Quackity looked back at Dream...I JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THIS
Oohh I thought he just had an open body language and moved his hands around and stuff ( Techno ) and his way of talking and acting was disrespectful, which is why Quackity threw his potato outa hand so he's the only focus, since he was tryna scare and kill him and stuff 🐜

Oh my wow I loved all of this but when techno teleported back and the stumble of all the chairs and objects matching perfectly with audio was just immaculate
Also that Philza accidentally pushed a potion off the shelf when grabbing something for Techno to drink

@@reaganhabetler843 no, when philza is frantically searching for the milk, he knocks over a potion and breaks it. This was in reference to him tossing a potion on him before giving him food and milk.

I love how techno never questioned philzas loyalty. Like he never said "what if he betrayed me" or "I thought you abandoned me!"
This was so good!!! I love your designs, techno is so round and BIG and I love him dearly. Quackity comes off as genuinely menacing, and the look he gave dream when techno disappeared was CHILLING and I LOVED IT. Amazing animatic!!!

Literally all the expressions are so good, Techno shaking his head when talking to Dream, nervously eating the potato and it getting knocked into the lava, the “anger”/“bruuuuhhh” when he was talking with Phil, and then the clink of the pickaxe against the wall/the chairs being knocked over?? The details are just so cool
Their expressions are so great! I love the "you should ~definitively~ give him the book" part
I've seen so many animatics of this sequence in the past week, but this one is my favorite! I dunno, I think it perfectly balances the mild terror with the fun of it. And your character design for Quackity just might be my favorite that I've ever seen!

this is amazing. i loved all of their designs, and the expressions were fantastic as well. my favorite part has got to be all of techno’s mannerisms. the eating baked potatoes throughout, the way he’s still smiling even tho quackity is beating him up, the holding up a finger as he drinks the potion before slowly turning to phil. incredible. not to mention phil’s guily face and dream trying to pull on the chains. this whole thing is just spectacular. 10/10 dude

can i just point out dream here. look at him. our boi. our little prisoner who's been stuck there for more than 6 months. you animated him so nicely even if he was just in the bg of this scene the whole time. I love the way techno looks in the animation, the kinda rough look to his face, the fact that he's a pig (on brand, as he would say) and the way his body looks appropriately chunky, yet kinda buff.
The audio itself is funny enough, BUT THE ANIMATION DUDE I'M LAUGHING MY LUNGS OUT IT'S AWESOME
I love the little sound effects and the designs of the characters. How menacing you can make them look and how hilarious it was that you have him eating while Quackity makes his monologue 😂😂😂
