Was like "Uh oh" when the D6 started bogging down in the mud, but you handled it like the pro you are. Also noticed the water in the burn pit hasn't gone down any when you flew the drone over it. Not gonna have any problems with water retention on the pond. It's coming along nicely, thanks for the upload Chris.
Lucky you were able to get a alternator fast for your truck yesterday and enjoy your half day of work. Glad to see Tim on the D-6 again. You should put up a sign were the Island is going.

I know I told you before I was in the Army Engineers. I always requested to learn heavy equipment operator. They wouldn't let me because they needed me on my, mobile machine shop. Seems in a Battalion they could find another Machinist.

On your D6cat does that seem to have a lot more pushing power than your other dozer and you going to sell that the when pushing stumps and dirt that thing seems like it's pretty badass
7:28 you could add a hydraulic dump bed vibrator to the truck after a few more projects with less downtime and maschines that need fixing it costs rather little, you need to add a valve more and a electric button in the cockpit as well as a good lenght of hydraulic hoses from the valve block all the way to the rear and back up the dump bed fixed in a way it cant be pinched or spooled up anywhere
I just bought myself a pair of 3M Peltor X5A's for hearing protection. so far they seem pretty good, fit well and the band doesn't rub my head the way most over the ear muffs do. Which is amazing, since I have a larger than average skull. throw in a couple of foam plugs and the loud equipment just goes down to a very comfortable muffle. I ain't one much for music in my ears when I am trying to make the noise less. Don't know why I felt obliged to include this, but if you are looking for a pair check them out. The pond is really looking good, Chris. thanks for the videos.

I like that the woods line isn't perfectly straight,if 20 adults wanted to go in the big nook for a party they could imbibe without the whole world gawking. And yes,I know it's private land,but still. Heck,I'd make some party spots/clearings in the woods with dirt tracks for access and picnic tables to put the hard partiers(or even rough camping) out of general sight of kids who are bank fishing and such. I suppose that depends on just how busy I thought my big lake area was gonna be. Just thoughts,no need to hang me till dead.

Chris, on my opinion i think you need another truck for loading dirt , maybe the coast will be higher, but the work will finish more faster .😉
Your truck has 24 volt shift solenoids inside transmission, cost around $500 each that why you need 24 volts to drive it.
