Here is my NCAA Football Documentary: Lived The Dream
A college football documentary chronicling the last semester of ex-D3 collegiate football athletes who are impending graduation. Capturing the transition of not being identified as a football player and finding their launch pad for life. A documentary about the real truth of the NCAA college football experience and the struggles and success of student athletes. This documentary may be about d3 athletes, but it paints an important picture on the Reality of College Football players. The price of college sports isn't just aid by the fans, its paid by the student athletes.

Nicely done, I had a discussion with another player from Linfield who was downplaying D3 - You hit the point straight on, These guys go in with expectations for their education, and the sport is great, but education is primary. No one can tell me the M.I.T players are playing football for a shot at the NFL, or the Johns Hopkins player playing while looking for a shot at the big time. It is what the school offers and great if the sport is included. Like Toby we are a UMHB family as well, nicely done

G Cachianes thank you so much! I am glad that you think my film hits the experience spot on. D3 football shouldn’t be downplayed. It should be appreciated for what it is and what it offers you!

This would be better if your narrator sections weren't just subtitled/no audio

I have to say that this is brilliant. I've not followed football for a long time only getting into it in 2016. I've had a great interest in the game since. College football I was never really interested (dont live in the US). As far as I was concerned those who play college ball all wanted to make the NFL, such as those who go to Alabama or Clemson or Ohio ect. Never did I spare a thought for the 98 percent who dont even play division 1. But this really opened my eyes to the student life of those who most likely wont be drafted to the nfl (even though that's the majority of even division 1 players as well). They aren't even remotely worried about it (except for the guy who's looking to go pro). The life of a student athlete is hard, they train and work hard just as D1 players do. I see these men and they appear well rounded individuals who had a great experience and are ready for the real world maybe even better than the D1 players as theyve a very difficult and probably more hectic regime. Theyve graduated have a degree and are getting on with life. I wish them all the best.
    Good documentary. Thank you.

Thank you for the comment!!! 😭😭 This really means a lot. I can personally say, myself and the others in this documentary are doing well in life. Our student athlete days have been over for over 4 years now yet we still carry the lessons we learned from our college experience. Glad you enjoyed the documentary! 🎥💭

Redlands is not a stepping stone to a pro athlete career. When Chapman is your rival....

Excellent documentary! Honestly, some of these big D1 schools are very overrated. With some of these small D2 D3 schools, there’s a better opportunity for the individual to grow outside of their sport and school. Teachers and coaches at these smaller schools seem to care more about the student athletes overall personal well being. I can’t wait to play at the D3 school I chose!
