This really puts into perspective what strength means for “normal” people - Zack is a big time coach and TH-camr and him picking up 285 lbs was shocking to his family. As lifters I think we too often think we’re weaker than we are simply because we often put ourselves into echo chambers with other people who take it very seriously.
@@dadgumwler I can count on one hand the amount of deadlifts I’ve seen in person at or above 4o5, and I spent a lot of time in powerlifting gyms, so the above tend to be very heavy, but in something like a Crunch Fitness: deadlifting 315 puts you in the top 5% easily. Lmao, I still feel like a turd pulling in the 4’s, but this was a good reality check.
"it's kinda cool when charm can be just neglect" your dad rips started laughing immediately when mama giraffe said no one bet on her skinny arms great video!
You guys are adorable lol. Your reply to your sister with what your deadlift total is was cute, and her reaction just being total disbelieve, while your moms saying she has it on her phone. Their all strong to, your mom could definetly go for the "masters" lol
Dude, what an awesome video! Really inspiring and really wholesome to see your family having fun. BTW, after watching your lift companion series took my girlfriend on a back squat training session after she had a bad day at her work, and it was soo good! It lifted her spirits, we talked for and hour, lifted heavy, trained hard and at the end it was all good. Really dude, your work is incredible! Much love my guy! Shoutout from Brazil!
